Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

The Full Moon this month on April 4 is a lunar eclipse, companion to the solar eclipse that occurred last month.  It opposes your natal Sun and will thus have more impact if your birthday in April 4.  This also implies that its effects will last even longer as it will be part of your solar return.  Eclipses have more staying power than the usual lunation, anyway, but being included in your solar return is likely to make the coming year quite important.  The good news, at least according to eclipse guru, Bernadette Brady, is that this family of eclipses is rather friendly, particularly with regard to group projects and personal relationships matters.  The Sun is applying to a conjunction with Uranus in a few days which is likely to bring some important surprises.  These are likely to have some impact on something related to the past but nonetheless have a pleasant side as well with Jupiter tying into all the planets in Aries including the eclipse, i.e. Sun and Moon.  This could bring the expansion of a romantic relationship, if such a situation fits your situation.  Your sign ruler, Mars, is in Taurus, where he's slowed down a bit yet nonetheless can make slow, deliberate progress, perhaps in a new direction as you make a few adjustments to your expectations or philosophy of life.

Jupiter stations direct on April 8 which will dump a lot of energy into 12:35 Leo.  If your birthday is right around April 3 this will trine your natal Sun and suggests favorable expansion of something related to your 5th house which includes children, romance, entertainment, ego definition, and speculation.  Jupiter is trining a partile (same degree) conjunction between Mercury and Uranus which suggests unexpected or surprising news.  Something from the past may be holding you back, however, and present a challenge which you're going to have to deal with, possibly the matter of letting something go.  Restructuring your attitude is key to all that is going on with your sign ruler in a position to help you change direction, albeit slowly.

The New Moon on April 18 will conjoin your natal Sun if your birthday is that day.  Like those born on April 4 who will have the lunar eclipse with them all year, you will carry this influence for the coming year as well.  Jupiter in your 5th house of ego definition and other fun things such as kids and romance will be livening things up in this area which is likely to bring some surprises and changes you may not be expecting.  There could be some financial challenges attached which you'll have to deal with, but if you tune into your subconscious and listen you can access some inspiration to help things along.  Friction from your conscious mind is likely as well and you may be torn with regard to practicality and pleasure.  Life seldom accommodates everything at once so it will be up to you to decide from past experience which course you should pursue.
