Lunations and Long-term Aspects

This is a relatively quiet month compared to October which should be welcome news.  There is some possibility that the effects of the eclipses last month will hang around for a while if it connected with your chart but November is relatively benign with the usual lunations and Neptune stationing direct.  Those of you with planets at 16 degrees may have encountered something this past month when Mercury stationed direct at 16 Libra, re-activating the Saturn-Uranus quincunx that lasted for six weeks last summer at 16 Scorpio and 16 Aries, respectively.  You'll be happy to know that the worst of that should be over.

The Full Moon on November 6 is in fellow Earth Sign, Taurus, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, other cultures, long-distance travel, legal matters and relocation suggesting an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  If your birthday is right around September 7 this lunation forms an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential with your natal Sun.  This suggests encountering information of some description that ultimate finds its way into your belief system through an emotional experience of some sort.  Your sign ruler, Mercury, is back on track and will be entirely out of his retrograde shadow by November 11, which will help things get moving again, literally and figuratively.  With Jupiter still hanging out in your 12th house which includes your subconscious mind, dreams, visions, enlightenment, spirituality, institutions, seclusion, confinement, self-undoing and hidden enemies you may have some rumblings going on there which are trying to break into your thought train.  If you feel stuck in some way it may be due to some baggage that it's time to dismiss.  Breaking away from old paradigms is probably required before you can progress the way you'd like.  There may be some pride involved in letting go but it's likely to be well-worth it in the long haul.

Neptune stations direct on November 16 and will do so opposite your natal Sun if your birthday is right around August 28.  Neptune is a real slow mover and you've probably noticed the effects which are likely to fog your brain, sap your usual energy and actually mellow you out quite a bit, which could be a good thing.  The Moon is in your sign at the time which will be conjunct your natal Sun if your birthday is right around September 4.  In that case, you'll receive the influence of a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God."  Your sign ruler comprises the other side of the base and the eye is Uranus in Aries.  The most basic significance would encompass synthesizing information at the emotional level which could be deep enough to be considered transformational and bring about a sudden change of direction.  If you were stuck on that ego issue earlier, this may be what it takes to loosen things up a bit.

The New Moon on November 22 is in Sagittarius, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings which suggests something new coming your way.  This influence will be strongest for those of your born right around August 24.  Drawing subconscious thoughts to the surface remains an issue but there should be opportunities out there to take action toward something you want as you make any appropriate attitude adjustments.  This looks like a month with a lot of mental and emotional activity which could nudge you off in a slightly different direction, provided you can get past any ego issues or other obstacles that involve letting go of something you no longer need whether tangible or intangible such as a belief that is no longer worth keeping.
