Eclipses  Solar Returns  Retrograde Planets

Lunations and Long-term Aspects

This month is a bit quieter than last, which should come as relatively welcome news.  Last month's eclipses and Mercury retrograde definitely stirred up a few things, particularly for those with planets or key chart points like the ascendant of Midheaven at 16 degrees.  That was where Mercury stationed direct with activated that quincunx between Saturn and Uranus which hung around for six weeks last summer, really charging up that degree.  If you got hit by one or both eclipses plus had something at 16 degrees I would be quite surprised if nothing of significance came your way.  This month there are the two usual lunations, Neptune stations direct and your modern sign ruler, Pluto, has a visit from Mars.  Since this is solar return month for most of you bear in mind that some of these influences could follow you all year via your solar return.  If you want a glimpse into what to expect be sure to get your solar return report early so you can take full advantage of what awaits.

The Full Moon on November 6 is in your polar sign, Taurus, which is your 7th house of close relationships.  This includes your significant other, business partners, close friends and relatives, competitors and open enemies.  Watch for something to end, culminate or shift to a new phase in this part of your life, especially if your birthday is right around November 6 or 7.  Venus has been in your sign for a while though she'll be gone slightly after mid-month.  Saturn continues to hang out and is on your Sun if your birthday is right around November 17.  Saturn is the lord of karma and author of difficult lessons so this transit is often less than fun.  If you've been irresponsible or undisciplined in any manner now is when it comes back to bite you sure as God made little green apples.  This is likely to be further exaggerated by the square between Old Man Karma and Jupiter in fellow Fixed sign, Leo, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status.  This suggests that things could be blown out of proportion, particularly in the public eye so be prepared to be on your best behavior and mitigate it any way you can.  Uranus in Aries, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets, is tied into the lunation and suggests a shift of direction that may at first be irritating yet if you handle it properly can turn to your advantage.

Your traditional sign ruler, Mars, will be conjunct your modern ruler, Pluto, on November 11.  This suggests a time when you can take control with regard to a thought or idea.  Be on your best behavior driving that day since you will be inclined to be more aggressive with these two powerhouses in cahoots.

Neptune stations direct on November 16 in fellow Water sign, Pisces.  This trines your Sun if your birthday is right around October 28.  This would be a great day to enjoy yourself a little, relax and seek creative inspiration.  The Sun, Mercury, Saturn and Venus are all in your sign at that time and while Jupiter is still messing with them a bit admonishing you to be aware that your actions have consequences there are some favorable vibes out there as well.  Finding previously hidden information is favored as well as taking control of an idea or situation with a sibling or neighbor.  The station chart also has an aspect pattern known as a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," which could have interesting implications as well.  Uranus in your 6th house of work, health and service is at the eye with the base comprising Mercury in your sign and the Moon in Virgo, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, networking, goals and so forth.  This suggests an opportunity could come your way through a friend or associate that brings about a change with regard to work or health.

The New Moon on November 22 is in nextdoor neighboring sign, Sagittarius, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures so watch for something new to come into your life in that department.  Make sure you see things clearly, however, since there could be some deception or inclination to see things through rose-colored glasses.  It's likely that things are not quite as good as they may appear so bear that in mind.  A change of direction with regard to your career or status may come about as you take action on an idea.  Remember that square between Uranus and Pluto is heating up, however, so power struggles at work and a variety of surprises are likely.  Pluto is being squared by Uranus again and will be in the same degree and at its strongest between November 27 - December 27.  Those of you with birthdays around November 5 should be on the lookout for ideas and news relative to work or health during that time.  Remember that chaos often brings opportunity and you have a strong sense of discernment up to the point of something close to x-ray vision so be prepared to take advantage.
