Lunations and Long-term Aspects

This month should be a little less intense than October which included two eclipses and Mercury doing the backstroke.  If the eclipses hit your chart you may continue to see some effects from that but generally speaking things should be a little quieter.  When Mercury stationed direct at 16 degrees, which was charged up by that Saturn - Uranus quincunx which lasted for six weeks last summer, those with planets at that degree typically felt something, especially if it was their Sun or Moon in a Cardinal sign.  Fortunately, the worst should be over other than getting past anything that occurred already.  This month the hot spot is 11 degrees which means those of you born right around December 4 should be on the lookout for some interesting events.

The Full Moon on November 6 is in Taurus, your 6ths house of work, health, service and pets.  Watch for an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  At this time the Sun, Venus and Saturn are in Scorpio, your 12th house of spirituality, dreams, visions, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing, bringing a lot of energy to this part of your life.  Your sign ruler, Jupiter, is in Leo, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, higher learning, legal matters, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation, where he could be expanding upon things there.  However, he's squaring Saturn and Venus for the lunation which could bring a few interesting matters for you to gnaw on as your beliefs and spirituality intersect in what may not be an harmonious manner.  Uranus, who's cruising along in Aries, your 5th house of creativity, ego expression, children, romance, entertainment and speculation, could bring a few surprises that tie into this lunation's message.  The first thing that comes to mind is if you really aren't comfortable much less inspired by your current job this may be when you realize you'd really rather be doing something else.

On November 11 Mars and Pluto will be conjunct in Capricorn, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures.  We're talking about 11 degrees again so keep an eye out if your birthday is December 4.  These two bad boys in your money house could stir up a few things but it's an excellent aspect to use to take control of this part of your life.  On November 16 Neptune stations direct in Pisces, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings.  The station chart includes a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," which tend to have a fated nature.  Again, its base is in 11 degrees.  Implications include more heartfelt inspiration with regard to your career and the need to break free from anything that isn't allowing you to not only grow but show your many talents.  Pluto in your money house suggests taking control as well as eliminating anything you no longer need.  For example, if following your dream will generate less income then cutting back your lifestyle will be required but probably well-worth it if you find greater satisfaction in your work.  Jupiter is still squaring your 12th house planets, however, which suggests your expectations may be a bit too high and conflict with what could ultimately make you a lot happier.

The New Moon on November 22 is in your sign and right on your natal Sun if your birthday is November 23, give or take a day.  There's a bit of a caution attached, however, because the lunation squares Neptune suggesting you may not be seeing things clearly or there could be some deception involved.  Remember that the 12th house not only brings inspiration but can also include self-defeating actions so make sure you're thinking things through and gathering the necessary facts.  Keeping your beliefs and expectations in line can help make a few adjustments to the financial side as needed.

From November 27 until December 27 Uranus and Pluto are in partile (same degree) square again which tends to be less than favorable for most, especially those with their Sun or Moon in a Cardinal sign.  Pluto is in your money house as noted earlier and Uranus in your "Fun" house of creativity, ego, romance, children and such.  Implications are that a surprise or two may occur here which will place some strain on maintaining control of your finances.  This could be a creative project that will be expensive or even meeting someone new in the romance department whom you want to impress, perhaps a little too much.  Nonetheless, this aspect will be less stressful for you than many others with it even possible the surprise will be a pleasant one since Uranus is in fellow Fire sign, Aries, and thus trining your Sun sign.  This looks like a month with a lot of mental activity and considerations related to your view of the world which is actually right up your alley in preparation for your solar return either toward the end of this month or into the next.  Unfortunately, it looks as if the majority of you are going to carry that Uranus - Pluto square in your solar return (and yours truly as well since my birthday is Christmas Day) but the good news is that it might actually bring some excitement of a relatively pleasant nature even if a challenge or two are involved as well.
