Lunations and Long-term Aspects

This month should be a little quieter than last with its eclipses and Mercury retrograde.  Those with planets at 16 degrees had quite a time of it as Mercury stationing direct reactivated that Saturn - Uranus quincunx that charged up that degree last summer for six weeks.  Thank heavens that's mostly gone but it got pretty intense for some, particularly those with their Sun or Moon in a Cardinal sign at 16 degrees.  November there are normal lunations, Neptune stations direct and there's a Mars-Pluto conjunction to keep an eye on.

The Full Moon on November 6 is in fellow Fixed sign, Taurus, which will form a T-square with your natal Sun if your birthday is right around August 7.  Taurus is your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status so this lunation suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  This lunation could bring a change or course or adjustment in your belief system of some sort, perhaps due to some form of irritation related to home or perhaps getting started on a new project.  Getting things settled and organized at home continues to have some help from the planets in Scorpio including the Sun, Venus and Saturn except Jupiter in Leo may be impairing progress a little by throwing too much at you at once, making your life a juggling act.  If your birthday is right around August 14 Jupiter is sitting on your natal Sun which will make this influence even stronger.  Mars and Pluto in your 6th house of work, health, service and pets could bring some surprises and intensity to that part of your life.  Those two bad boys are conjunct on November 11 which could bring some sort of adjustment or Catch-22 your way, especially if your birthday is right around August 4.  Fortunately Mars moves relatively quickly so it won't last long but it would be a day to be a bit more cautious than usual, just in case.

Neptune stations direct on November 16 over in Pisces, your 8th house of transformations, sex, debt, death and rebirth, intense experiences, shared resources and things you suppress.  Those of you born August 4 may see something from this as well since again 11 degrees stands out.  Mars and Pluto were conjunct in that degree of Capricorn and for Neptune's station the Moon is at 11 Virgo and Mercury 11 Scorpio, forming the base of a yod with its eye at 13 Aries.  What does this mean?  Well, a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," often has a fated nature and the placement of the planets involved suggest a significant change relative to something in your 9th house which includes beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, legal matters, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation.  This could come about due to a financial issue or need coupled with either some new development at home or perhaps a new endeavor.  Work or perhaps your health could be a factor as well, perhaps motivating a much needed break though there are likely to be some challenges involved as well.

The New Moon on November 22 is in fellow Fire sign, Sagittarius, your 5th house of creativity, ego expression, children, romance, entertainment and speculation.  If your birthday is right around July 23 this will trine your natal Sun, giving it more influence.  One thing to watch out for, however, is deception or not seeing things clearly since the lunation squares Neptune.  This could be something like a new creative idea or something you want to do with your kids, lover or for fun but could be far more expensive than you think and thus cause unwanted debt.  Be sure you have all the facts in writing so you fully understand what's going on before taking on something you may later regret.  Things continue to be busy on the home front and adjusting your priorities and schedule as needed will continue to be a challenge.  Mercury in your 4th house should help you get things organized as well as Saturn but it's going to take some effort.

From November 27 - December 27 Uranus and Pluto will be in partile (same degree) square again which is likely to likewise bring some action to those of you born August 4th.  This is likely to affect your beliefs and expectations regarding work, your health, service activities or perhaps your pets.  Expect the unexpected, look out for people on power trips and be prepared to let go of anything you no longer need, particularly as they relate to the 9th house of beliefs and such.  Luckily for you this square won't be as harsh for you as those with their Sun in Cardinal signs who will get a bigger jolt.
