Lunations and Long-term Aspects

This month should be a little quieter than October which had two eclipses as well as a Mercury retrograde period.  The effects of the eclipses could linger a bit longer, especially for those born right around June 22 and July 8.  Those born around July 9 may have seen a few things as well due to that long-term Saturn - Uranus quincunx that hung around for about 6 weeks last summer at 16 degrees of their respective signs which was reactivated by Mercury stationing on that degree.  I know of at least one person who fits that description who was in a car wreck the day Mercury stationed which drew in the domains of all three planets, i.e. Mercury ruling movement as well as judgment; Saturn ruling structure as well as law; and Uranus the master of surprises and the unexpected.  Fortunately modern safety features such as air bags and seat belts kept the injuries in the minor range but the car is totaled, fault entirely on the other driver who pulled out onto a highway in front of them when they were going 70 mph.  I hope that any of you out there reading this were spared such a demonstration of how transits can play out.

The Full Moon on November 6 is in Taurus, your 11th house of friends, networking, groups, organizations, hopes, wishes and goals which suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase regarding something in this part of your life.  If your birthday is right around July 7 your natal Sun forms an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential with the Sun and Moon, giving it more influence.  If this is you watch for something to come along that requires you to mitigate a situation that involves something in the 11th house as noted earlier and something from the 5th which includes creative endeavors, children, romance, ego definition, entertainment or speculation.  You may have to choose but at least that puts you in the decision loop.

Jupiter is strolling along through your 2nd house of income, finances, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures where he could tend to inflate things a bit or blow them out of proportion, particularly if they involve something in the 5th such as children or possibly your ego or any of the things noted above.  For example, you may find it impossible to feel as if your own needs are being met or your children or creative endeavors may be more expensive than planned.  Uranus has been stirring things up in Aries, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status which could bring about a change of direction.  There could be some conflict involving business partners or someone close to you but note that how you handle it could ultimately bring you closer to your goals.

Neptune stations direct on November 16 in his home sign of Pisces, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, other cultures, legal matters, long-distance travel and relocation.  The most interesting part of the station chart is a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," which has Uranus at the eye in your 10th house of career and its base comprising the Moon and Mercury.  The most fundamental delineation of this particular aspect pattern  suggests a heartfelt and creative idea could have an important impact on your career or status in some way.  This could come from someone you know who has a bit of influence and power to pave the way for what you want.  Taking action won't necessarily be as easy as you'd like but challenge is typically required in something that ultimately brings progress.

The New Moon on November 22 is in Sagittarius, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets which suggests something new coming into you life in this area.  Whichever matter it involves make sure you have a clear view and understanding about the situation because your attitude is an important part of the situation.  If your birthday is right around June 22 a change of direction is even more likely. Something in the 5th house such as kids, romance or a hobby could cause some financial impact but someone close to you may be able to help you through it. As Pluto transits your 7th house you can expect a variety of changes to occur with your relationships.  Numerous people will be eliminated from your social sphere and with other the relationship is likely to transform to a different level.  If your birthday is right around July 3 you are most likely to notice this along with a status change.
