This month should be a lot quieter than the last two; at least we can hope.  Hopefully you were mostly spared any unfortunate occurrences due to that Cardinal Grand Cross, though it could have hit other planets in your chart and caused a few issues.  If not you probably saw all kinds of craziness going on all around you, including on the news, or you may be helping clean up the mess at work or for anyone who wasn't so fortunate.  It's gradually breaking up and I suppose the good news is that now that ongoing square between Pluto and Uranus which will last until 2015 will be relatively easy to handle by comparison. 

Mars stations direct on May 20 which will help get things moving again.  He has been retrograde since the first of March which can have the effect of running a marathon on a treadmill where you're getting nowhere fast.  Mars has been in Libra, your 11th house of friends, goals, organizations, groups, hopes and wishes for a much longer time than usual so if all progress in that part of your life has felt stuck in the mud this is why and it should improve greatly by the end of the month.  If your birthday is right around December 1 he will station direct sextile your natal Sun which should bring an opportunity your way so be sure to watch for it.

The Full Moon on May 14 is in the sign nextdoor, i.e. Scorpio, your 12th house of dreams, visions, enlightenment, spirituality, your subconscious mind, institutions, confinement, seclusion, hidden enemies and self-defeating behaviors.  This type of lunation typically brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase so look for something that fits that description that resides in your 12th house.  Saturn is still hanging out in that sign as well and is retrograde until July 20 which implies delays and obstacles until then though the message of Saturn RX is usually to call attention to something that needs to be restructured or rebuilt.  If you've been neglecting the positive side of this part of your life you may want to give that some attention.  We are complex beings who exist on multiple levels, i.e. our physical body, intellectual and mental pursuits and our spiritual or higher-self, all of which need attention, nourishment and exercise.  In the everyday demands of living this particular part is often pushed in the back which is ironic given that the 12th house is where we hide things, anyway.  Back to this Full Moon, Jupiter, your sign ruler, is trining Saturn from Cancer, your 8th house of transformations, things you suppress, sex, death/rebirth cycles, shared resources and debt, which may help you in your quest.  If you're in the process of reinventing yourself, this all definitely fits the mold.

Your sign is somewhat surrounded currently by unfriendly planets between Saturn in your 12th and Pluto lollygagging along in Capricorn, your 2nd house, which includes your body, possessions, income, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures.  Pluto relates to transformations as well so these planets all seem to be in cahoots with one another.  Pluto is quincunx Mercury in Gemini, your 7th house of relationships, with that aspect usually indicating the need to defend your position, change course or in some cases, a Catch-22 situation.  This could represent something like an argument with your significant other or business partner about money where the solution is not going to be simple but possibly change you entire lifestyle.  For example, your spouse has decided to quit their lucrative job and write a novel that they're certain will be a bestseller or your business partner has decided to retire to Belize and wants to be bought out now.  There is some help available, however, given some innovation and creativity coupled with your natural optimism to get it all figured out and be better off in the long haul.

The New Moon on May 28 is in Gemini, your polar sign and 7th house of relationships which includes the above mentioned significant other, business partners, business professionals, close friends and relatives, competitors and open enemies.  This lunation opposes your natal Sun if your birthday is right around November 30.  This could bring someone new into your life in one of these categories or may simply be someone who is currently an acquaintance or friend becoming closer and more influential.  There is a hint of caution, however, to make sure that you understand the expectations of the other person because some confusion or deception is possible.  This is especially important if this is a business relationship that involves money or if it's a personal relationship that also seems to have an ulterior motive.  There may not be anything to worry about but it never hurts to be on the lookout versus getting snagged by surprise.  Your creativity is strong this month and there is definitely some luck out there so keep the lines of communication open and see what develops.
