This month the Full Moon is on December 6 in Gemini, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status.  A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination, or shift to a new phase which will be most likely to be noticeable if your birthday is right around September 7.  You may begin to see yourself in a slightly different way with respect to your contribution to society and how you are viewed by others.  This can be a time when your career choice or path is validated or conversely you recognize that what you're doing really isn't for you.  Take a close look at your satisfaction versus frustration with your current position for clues.  If more often than not you come home from work grumpy this is undoubtedly telling you something.  Of course that could derive from your daily commute, but that, also, is worth considering; perhaps you should find a similar position closer to home, check out public transportation or carpooling.

The Sun and Mercury, your sign ruler, are conjunct for this lunation in your 4th house of home environment bringing emphasis, thoughts and conversations to bear.  Venus is there as well, all in Sagittarius.  Venus rules your 2nd house of income, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures, which is a favorable indicator for home activities.  Her trine with Jupiter increases this with a touch of spirituality and soul satisfaction. This, of course, is great during the holidays though it may make it more difficult to get back to the grind afterwards.  That infamous Uranus - Pluto square continues in its partile state throughout the month.  If your birthday is right around September 6 Pluto in fellow Earth sign, Capricorn, is trining your natal Sun which suggests taking control of your ego expression or creativity, eliminating any fluff and being more authentic to yourself as well as others.  Uranus is in Aries, your 8th house of transformations and quincunx your Sun, suggesting a change of direction as well.  Uranus suggests breaking free from something and thus further supports the idea of shedding any facades and letting the real you shine in its full radiance.  Now is the time to quit pretending and be the person you're supposed to be, whether or not those around you approve.

If your birthday is right around August 28 you have Neptune opposing your natal Sun.  I am currently being deluged with Neptunian energy and as someone with a Capricorn Sun, Virgo Ascendant and Gemini Moon I have had a difficult time dealing with this foggy, undefined world where intuition is trying to take control.  When you are a practical, logical person this can be quite uncomfortable.  I feel as if I'm invisible or adrift in the ocean.  This may not be as strong for you as it is for me since I have a multitude of Piscean and Neptunian influences across several charts but you will probably notice it to some degree.  Neptune is transiting your 7th house of relationships so another possibility is seeing boundaries dissolved or undefined, the possibility of deception from someone close to you at either a personal or business level, or a dreamier than usual view of these people.

Jupiter stations retrograde on December 8 in your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, seclusion, confinement, institutions, self-undoing and hidden enemies.  Often Jupiter RX flushes out ethics issues or sets you to pondering your philosophy of life and beliefs as they relate to his house placement.  This also has implications toward authenticity.  The Sun and Mercury are still conjunct, in fact even tighter than for the Full Moon, which can bring your attention to new thoughts and ideas.  Ties with friends could play an important part as well.  If, perhaps, you are on a quest to discover and reveal your true self this could require letting go of certain things from your past, including associations which no longer fit the new you.  This retrograde period lasts until April so over the next few months see how this theme applies to you and what's going on in your life.

December 21 turns out to be quite a busy astrological day with three notable cosmic events.  In a way this is kind of creepy; maybe the Mayans were two years off, or rather we were in our interpretation of the timing of their calendar.  Not really, but it still seems a bit odd.  First of all, Uranus stations direct that day, thus hanging onto that square with Pluto at 12 degrees a bit longer.  Venus is conjunct Pluto at the time, which isn't necessarily unfortunate and could possibly soften it a bit.  Mars in your 6th house of work, health, service and pets, could be involved so keep an eye out for an opportunity. 

About 18 minutes after Uranus stations the Sun enters Capricorn, marking the solstice and first day of winter in the Northern Hemisphere and summer in the Southern.  This ingress has a bearing on the weather as well as mundane events in general.  Capricorn is loaded with the Sun, Mercury, Pluto and Venus, placing a lot of energy in that sign.  This is your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation and could bode nicely for you the next few months.  The New Moon follows about two and a half hours later, also in Capricorn.  Continue to consider who you are at the core and how best to express that, particularly through your work which is always important to a Virgo.  If you're unhappy with your current job now is an excellent time to determine what is missing and what direction you may need to go to find greater satisfaction in this part of your life.
