This month's Full Moon is on December 6 in your nextdoor neighboring sign, Gemini, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures so watch for an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in that part of your life.  While the Sun is in Sagittarius, your 8th house of transformations, shared resources, debt, sex, death and regeneration, intense experiences and things you suppress keep an eye on that venue as well for things brought to your awareness, perhaps in a sudden or unexpected manner as they arise from your subconscious.  Your sign ruler, Venus, is in that sign and house as well and in favorable aspect with Jupiter in Leo, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings, which suggests expansion in that area of some sort which will have a favorable transformational effect.  If your birthday is right around May 3rd watch for an important change in something related to your 9th house which includes beliefs, expectations, higher learning, other cultures, philosophy of life and long-distance travel. 

On December 8 Jupiter stations retrograde in Leo, your 4th house of home environment and such as defined above.  This internalizes his energy such that you will see less expansive effects and more ruminations and considerations relative to matters pertaining to that house.  Important insights can come your way at this time which have an emotional impact.  Much of this may operate on the subconscious level beneath your awareness, perhaps because you are resisting what your instincts are trying to tell you.  if your birthday is right around May 13 this station is more likely to affect your personally.

December 21 is a busy day astrologically, staring with Uranus stationing direct.  He is in partile (same degree) square with Pluto and has been for a while, a somewhat unfortunate aspect which is strongest when both planets are in the same degree.  This station will thus prolong that a bit.  Pluto in Capricorn has been doing a good job exposing corporate and governmental corruption, for which there is a target-rich environment.  Throw Uranus in there and you get rebellions and protests and other unexpected situations, particularly when Uranus is retrograde.  Once he goes direct then may be when some significant changes can occur, particularly as groups and organizations take action pushing for what they want.  Communications may be a bit idealistic but may nonetheless help rectify some situations which definitely need to change.  All concerned at all levels need to give serious thought to what needs to be done and the consequences of not addressing policies and so forth which clearly need to change.

Eighteen minutes and twenty-two seconds after Uranus stations the Sun enters Capricorn, marking the winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere.  Whenever the Sun enters a Cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) a new season begins, both literally and figuratively, since action typically begins in a Cardinal sign.  Its influence as defined by the chart for that moment tends to trickle through the entire quarter.  This chart is used for such things as weather prediction like that found in The Old Farmer's Almanac as well as mundane and geo-political astrology.  That square between Uranus and Pluto is thus going to influence the coming three months even though it will no longer be partile by the last week of this month.  Such aspects are in effect even when they're not partile but are definitely the strongest during that time, as easily seen in current events.

Two hours, thirty-two minutes and fifty seconds after the Capricorn Ingress the Moon joins the Sun for this month's New Moon.  This brings a lot of energy to Capricorn, including the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Pluto and Venus.  If your birthday is right around April 20 this lunation trines your natal Sun and should bring something favorable your way relative to your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, higher learning, publication, other cultures and long-distance travel.  All that energy in Capricorn is thus influencing that part of your life in a favorable manner so put it to good use.  Mars is hanging out in Aquarius, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status bringing energy to that part of your life as well.  This could bring some challenges but is nonetheless a favorable time to take action in this part of your life.  You may find yourself under attack, however, so be sure to harness all that philosophical energy to deal with it effectively.
