This month the Full Moon on December 6 is in Gemini, your 6th house of work, health, service, and pets and suggests and ending, culmination or shift to a new phase for something in this part of your life.  As a fellow Cappy myself I have a couple areas where I can see that playing out.  It's getting into that time to be thinking about New Year's Resolutions which Cappies tend to excel at, probably because it's around this time of year and just into the next when we have our solar return and start a new cycle which is an excellent time to start out anew, making it more natural for us that several of the other signs.  The fact we possess a fair amount of discipline and ambition helps as well; setting goals often comes naturally.  It anything, I tend to set too many and then wear myself out trying to achieve them all. 

The Sun is in Sagittarius for this lunation which brings light and emphasis to your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, dreams, visions, your subconscious mind, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing.  This is helpful energy to gear up for the coming year as well since your subconscious is running the show more than you realize.  A sudden or unexpected new beginning is possible as a result of your internal ruminations, which could also help you break away from something which has been holding you back or getting you down.  Finding emotional satisfaction in your work is up for review and further suggested by this lunation.  Perhaps it's time for a change in this area which you have been putting off, perhaps ignoring or accepting when you shouldn't because change is possible.  You are typically more comfortable with change if you have a plan so maybe it's time to put one together.

Those of you born right around January 3 have Pluto parked on your natal Sun.  If you are feeling a major push to make some changes this is likely to blame.  The square between Pluto and Uranus is strong at this time since the aspect is partile, i.e. in the same degree in their respective signs.  Transformation change which could be abrupt or sudden is possible, perhaps through an opportunity which you should watch for.  Remember that thoughts become things so if you put the desire out there with sincere intent the Universe will deliver.

Jupiter stations retrograde on December 8 in Leo, your 8th house of transformations, sex, death and rebirth, debt, shared resources, intense experiences and things you suppress.  Those of you born around January 13 have this station aspecting your natal Sun with a quincunx a.k.a. inconjunct which typically indicates the need for a change of direction, to defend your position, at Catch-22 or adjustment of some sort.  Jupiter rules your 12th house so this also ties in with changes at the spiritual or subconscious level.  If you're a workaholic like many Cappies it may be time to treat yourself a little better and find more joie de vivre, especially if you feel it's been missing.  Insights and enlightenment are possible to assist with this shift and is likely to involve a relationship of some sort, perhaps one that isn't particularly supportive.  This may be a time when you have to assert yourself and stick to it.

December 21 is a busy day on the cosmic scene this year.  It starts out with Uranus stationing direct in Aries, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings.  This will also keep that Uranus - Pluto square active in the same degree for a while longer.  Taking action on something related to your finances may come at this time, perhaps based on new information or a bit of inspiration.  Taking better care of yourself or being a little self-indulgent are also possible at this time.  Challenges are out there but you can handle them.  A friend who may be in the "high places" category could be helpful at this time but this won't be handed to you, either.  It may initially present as an annoyance or friction but it's likely to be a blessing in disguise.

A mere eighteen minutes and twenty-two seconds after Uranus stations the Sun enters your sign.  This marks the solstice, Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere.  This chart is important for defining the climate of the coming quarter.  There is a lot of energy in your sign which should prove useful.  This chart is also related to weather predictions along with mundane and geo-political astrology.  Since Capricorn rules corporations as well as governments they are likely to encounter a variety of challenges coming at them from that Uranus - Pluto square.  Pluto in Capricorn relates strongly to unearthing corruption in these two areas with some it likely to be unexpected and surprising.

Two hours, thirty-two minutes and fifty seconds after the Ingress the Moon joins the Sun for this month's New Moon.  This suggests something new coming into your life at the personal level, especially if your birthday is right around December 21 or 22.  If this is your birthday you will have these influences with you all year as part of your solar return.  You might want to go ahead and order your solar return report to get a detailed glimpse of what to expect.  Opportunities to move forward with a new project is favored which is likely to relate to your income and/or enjoying yourself a bit more than you have in the past.  This is going to require some effort on your part but will be well-worth it.  Jupiter retrograde in your 8th house is time to ruminate on your philosophy of life and attitude and make any adjustments based on what you've learned through your life experience.
