This month the Full Moon on December 6 is in your nextdoor neighboring sign, Gemini, which is your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, seclusion, confinement, institutions, things that are hidden, your subconscious mind, hidden enemies and self-undoing.  I often call this the "Angels and Demons" or "Woowoo" House.  A Full Moon typically indicates an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase so look for something that fits that description in this part of your life.  At this time the Sun is in Sagittarius, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets, bringing light to those matters as well.  Obtaining news and information relative to that venue is favored, provided you are willing to listen and don't put up any subconscious emotional resistance.  If there have been upsets or sudden changes to your career or status lately, these could also play a part but things generally look favorable.  If there is someone in your life who is a bit controlling, however, that relationship could have an influence here as well and require some adjustments.  There's a reasonably good possibility that a raise could be involved, but it may be a case where if you don't ask, you don't get.

On December 8 Jupiter stations retrograde in Leo, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures.  While he has been in this part of your life you may have seen an increase or expansion of these matters.  When Jupiter is retrograde his energy is internalized and may instead relate to philosophical ruminations with regard to these same matters.  This may be a time when you decide whether any increases were worth it.  For example, if you had to work extra hard to earn more that may have meant less time with family or to take care of yourself which wasn't necessarily all beneficial.  The Moon is in your sign for the station and is conjunct your natal Sun if your birthday is right around July 7.  This could mean more information relative to your work or health which may require a change of course or place you in a Catch-22 situation.  A sudden change may have some benefits but it will also bring challenges, including the same control issues mentioned earlier though these could also simply indicate the need to let go of something you no longer need.

December 21 is a busy day astrologically starting with Uranus stationing direct.  This occurs with him in partile square with Pluto, a hard aspect which has undoubtedly had an influence on some of the various unpleasant events evident lately in the news.  Pluto in Capricorn has been facilitating the exposure of corruption at the corporate and government level for quite a while now and Uranus in Aries represents rebellion and the demand for change pushing back at the power and control exerted by these entities.  Uranus stationing while locked in this configuration gives it more impact but could also mark the time when change begins.  On a more personal level, this could also indicate similar effects. Be aware that Mars is in your 8th house which is a placement that can predispose you to accidents or other problems.  Thus, this is not a time to take unnecessary chances and when extra caution should be taken.

A mere eighteen minutes and twenty-two seconds after Uranus stations direct the Sun goes into Capricorn, your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships.  This includes your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, competitors and open enemies.  This particular chart is used the most for such things as weather predictions such as found in the Old Farmer's Almanac as well as mundane and geo-political astrology as it sets the tone for the coming quarter.  This is also the event that defines the winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere.  Whenever the Sun enters a Cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) it marks the beginning of a new season, both literally and metaphorically.  Action often begins with a Cardinal sign then cycles through the process of defining it in the following Fixed sign then taking care of any details in the Mutable sign after that.  For this ingress there is a lot of energy in Capricorn which will be used by those aforementioned entities in what will hopefully a productive and responsive way as they feel the pressure from those unhappy with their antics.

Two hours, thirty-two minutes and fifty seconds after the Capricorn Ingress the Moon joins the Sun for this month's New Moon.  This type of lunation likewise begins a new cycle.  This brings even more energy into Capricorn, your 7th house of relationships, which suggests there may be a lot of activity in this part of your life in the month to come.  Transformational change is likely, making this a favorable time to take action on such endeavors.
