This month the Full Moon occurs on December 6 in fellow Air Sign, Gemini, your 5th house of creativity, ego expression, romance, children, entertainment and speculation suggesting an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  If your birthday is right around February 3 your natal Sun forms an aspect pattern known as a "Triangle of Potential" with the lunation which puts you in the proverbial driver's seat to guide and direct this energy in a satisfying way.  One possibility is that a friend, associate through networking or organizational connections will help point you in the right direction to go after something you've been wanting for a while.  Mars has just entered you sign which will give you an extra boost of energy toward pursuing one of your goals.  Expanding your social circle is possible as well and there is a chance that a friend may shift into a romantic interest.  This could take you by surprise and you may find some old baggage holding you back which you need to deal with so that you can move forward and find what you truly want in life.

December 21 is a busy day on the cosmic scene besides it being the Capricorn Ingress a.k.a. solstice, Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere.  This is also the 2nd anniversary of the supposed end of the Mayan calendar, which gives it an interesting spin.  Uranus stations direct on this date 18 minutes and 22 second before the Ingress.  When the Sun goes into one of the Cardinal Signs it also marks the beginning of a new season.  Cardinal Signs have forward-thrusting energy which implies change with the Ingress Chart used for several things including weather prediction and various fields with mundane and geopolitical astrology.  Thus, it represents an energy boost and a planet stationing likewise throws a blast of energy out there.   Mars is really settled into your sign by now and pushing you to take action on any thoughts or ideas you may have embraced lately.  Subconscious doubts or some other form of self-undoing could be holding you back which you really need to address.  If you can take care of that it will help open the way for benefits to come.  It's important to maintain your responsibilities but if they are holding you back in some way there may be a way to deal with them if you give it the thought and consideration it deserves, perhaps with some help from your friends.

The Capricorn Ingress come with a lot of energy in that sign, one that by nature includes a lot of ambition, discipline and structure.  As a Fixed Sign you may not like charge, particularly at the mental level where you have to change or opinion or attitude toward something.  Capricorn is your 12th house of spirituality, your subconscious mind, dreams, visions, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing so this energy can be harnessed to work with anything in this part of your life that needs some work or direction.  This is a time to take a close look at your dreams, especially any that remain unfulfilled and figure out what you can do about it.

Two hours, thirty-two minutes and fifty seconds after the Ingress the New Moon occurs as the Moon slips into that side and conjoins the Sun.  The energies are essentially the same since these events happens in relatively rapid succession.  The Moon coming into the sign bring the emotional commitment you may need to make changes and take action.  While the Moon was in Sagittarius for the Ingress and Jupiter station the influence was more on your opinion and attitude but now it's on planning and action, at least at the subconscious level.   Define those dreams and commit to them then put together the needed plan.  Once you make your intentions know to the Universe then the cosmos will join you in making it so.
