Lunations and Long-term Aspects

The Full Moon this month occurs on September 8 in your nextdoor neighboring sign, Pisces, your 2nd house of income, finances, possessions, what you value, needs, comforts and pleasures.  A Full Moon tends to bring an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase so look for that effect on something in this part of your life.  The Sun is in Virgo, your 8th house of transformations, shared resources, sex, death and rebirth, inheritances, debt and things you suppress which could bring a correlation between these two areas.  For example, it may be a time when you assess your debt load and decide to make a few adjustments to your budget.  Neptune in your 2nd house for a long duration transit may not be a good thing for this part of your life since Neptune is the master of delusions.  On the positive side, however, financial astrologer Christine Skinner has stated that Neptune is also the planet that can bring big gains.  I think the key here is visualizing what you want and making sure your behavior conforms to your goals.  Venus, natural ruler of love and money, is in your 8th house which can help sort these things out and attain the proper balance between fantasy and reality.  When they say "It takes money to make money" it doesn't mean spending it will bring more to replace it.

Saturn, your traditional sign ruler, is in Scorpio, you 10th house of career, public image, reputation and status where he is mitigating this lunation in a positive way.  Saturn is the natural ruler of discipline, responsibility, organization and structure which is certainly a favorable influence for reining in anything that needs to be restricted in some way.  Saturn also represents authority figures so this could also refer to your boss, especially in the 10th house.

Jupiter is in Leo, your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, cliental and competitors which should serve to expand this part of your life over the next several months.  Communications with these individuals will be enhanced and also have an influence on your view of the world in some way or another.  Pluto, natural ruler of transformations, is creeping along through Capricorn, your 12th house of spirituality, dreams, visions, enlightenment, inspiration, confinement, seclusion, institutions, hidden enemies and self-defeating behaviors where he may be dredging up old issues that need to be resolved which involve relationships.  A change of course is suggested which can come about through pondering your beliefs and expectations of others.  Pluto stations direct on September 22/23 which will provide an extra boost toward some sort of adjustment.

You modern sign ruler, Uranus, is in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel where he could have a disruptive influence.  A variety of surprises or a hectic pace is suggested along with original or innovative thoughts which could bring flashes of brilliance that assist with any relationship issues.  There are numerous aspects working together with this same theme as you've probably already noticed making this a time when you have some cosmic help to work a few things out that may have been preying on your mind for quite a while.

The New Moon on September 23/24 is in fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, other cultures, long-distance travel, philosophy of life and relocation suggesting something new coming into this part of your life.  If your birthday is right around January 22 this lunation trines your natal Sun which gives it a stronger influence.  If your birthday is right around February 3rd Jupiter is now opposing your natal Sun which will most likely bring an increase of your activity with those close to you and further facilitate changes or perhaps resolution of old issues if you are willing to let your old way of thinking go.  Make sure any goals or group activities you're pursuing at this time do not put too much financial stress on your budget.  Remember the admonition earlier regarding Neptune's delusions.  You may find yourself possessed by a lot of enthusiasm that overrides common sense when it comes to how much it will cost.  Bear this in mind, otherwise it's likely to bite you later.
