This month is probably going to be slightly less hectic than the last two which is certainly good news all around.  That Cardinal Grand Cross really stirred things up, in the news if nowhere else, and the clean-up is going to take a while.  Hopefully, since Virgo, at least sign-wise, was not hit directly by that rather unfriendly cosmic trainwreck you primarily saw it all breaking loose around you as opposed to on a highly personal level.  It should help that Mars goes direct on May 20 which should get things moving again as well.  Mars retrograde is usually a lot like driving with the brakes on and I don't know about you but I've had enough of that.  With Mars in your 2nd house which includes income, finances, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures, it's likely that you saw some impact in that area.  For example, you may have seen small appliances dropping like flies, batteries refusing to hold a charge, and your "To Do" list growing by leaps and bounds.  Feeling as if you're on a treadmill which is expending a lot of energy but not really getting you where you want to go is pretty common at that time.  Saturn will be retrograde until July 20 so some delays and obstacles will continue but some of that may be strictly at the mental level where you can't quite make up your mind what to do.  Issues with siblings and neighbors are possible as well and may involve a lack of responsibility that splashes on you.

The Full Moon on May 14 is in Scorpio, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel, so watch for an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase regarding something in this part of your life.   If your birthday is right around September 16 this could bring an opportunity so keep an eye out for it, whether it's a new idea, a short trip or getting together with siblings or neighbors for a pleasant get-together.  This is an excellent time to look at your goals, hopes and wishes and putting together an action plan.  New networking contacts, friends, and group associations are also favored at this time, which will benefit you later.  Keep in touch with new people you meet by using your usual superior organization skills so you don't lose those business cards, whether paper or electronic.  It's also a favorable time to exploit the opportunities out there via social media, whether Facebook, Twitter (follow me @whobeda), LinkedIn or Pinterest.  Expanding your social circle never hurts and this is the time to do it when Jupiter is in your 11th house.  This may take time, probably more than you expect, but rest assured the benefits will come in due time.

News at work may require a change of course that you may not like but rest assured there will be opportunities there as well.  You may have to let go of something to benefit the most, perhaps something like your ego, but there is something to be learned and gained so turn off the criticism until all the facts are in.  Inspiration from a significant other or business partner may bring about some adjustments to your income or possessions.  May be good, may be bad, hard to tell, but something is brewing.  This person may require more of your time or money, may simply be blowing smoke or you may not be seeing things correctly.  Your best bet is to remain calm and clarify the situation before doing anything.

The New Moon on May 28 is in fellow Mutable Sign, Gemini, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status so watch for something new in this part of your life.  This looks like it will have a favorable effect on your income but some adjustments will be required, perhaps on the part of your significant other or business partner who may put up some resistance.  An opportunity to expand your horizons by learning something new may arise or perhaps simply bring a situation that improves your attitude.  This is not to say you have a bad one, but Virgo is inclined to see every mistake and flaw thus developing a somewhat jaded view of life, even if you tend to keep it under wraps, whether or not you give a flip about being politically correct.  I'm sure you know what I mean.
