This month is quite a bit less active than the last two months which is certainly good news for most of us.  Leo wasn't hit directly in the face by that Cardinal Grand Cross but that doesn't mean the chaos didn't splash your way leaving you to clean up the mess.  One thing of note this month is that Mars finally comes out of retrograde on May 20 after being in reverse since the beginning of March.  This has occurred in Libra, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors, which probably played out as a lack of progress or perhaps even some passive-aggression on the part of the people involved.  If your birthday is right around August 2 the stationing degree is sextile your natal Sun, giving you an extra boost. 

Mars rules fellow Fire Sign, Aries, which represents your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, higher learning, legal matters, your brother-in-laws or sister-in-laws, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation, so any of those types of things could have been stalled as well.  Mars is the traditional ruler of fellow Fixed Sign, Scorpio, which is your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings, so that house could have also been affected.  So at least this month the wait will be over which may be facilitated by some help from a friend or acquaintance, which should make it a little easier to move forward.  Saturn is still retrograde in Scorpio, however, which could mean continued delays or obstacles on the home front until July 20, but you can get a head-start on that by thinking about anything that needs to be restructured, rebuilt or re-established in that part of your life whether it's figurative or literal such as home repairs that need to be done.

The Full Moon on May 14 is in Scorpio as well, placing a lot of emphasis on your 4th house and suggesting an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase in that part of your life along with everything else.  If you've felt stuck lately or like you've been on a treadmill getting nowhere fast then it appears that situation is about to change.  Thus, unless things have been deliriously wonderful so far this year for you, which is certainly not what I've seen for the most part, this should be good news.  Especially if your birthday is right around August 16 this lunation may be a little more difficult, perhaps bringing about some conflicts between home and career.  There's a good chance you can draw from some inspiration to get things worked out, even if you have to break away from some preconceived notions to do so.

Transformations relative to work are still in effect and will be for quite some time while Pluto plods through Capricorn, your 6th house of work, service, daily activities, health and pets.  You could encounter some power trips in that venue, perhaps even one of your own since you like to be in charge and are a natural leader.  Your inborn abilities can be a threat to others, however, and bring out their dark side.  You might want to discuss the issue with a trusted friend who may be able to provide some information that will help you figure out the best course of action. 

The New Moon on May 28 is in Gemini, your 11th house of friends, goals, hopes, wishes, organizations, groups and networking.  This suggests some new people coming into your life or perhaps moving forward on a new goal.  If your birthday is right around August 1st this will definitely be to your advantage.  Maintaining a positive attitude is to your advantage as far as attracting some positive attention so make that a priority, no matter what else is out there that you have to deal with.  Breaking free from old paradigms is often necessary in order to move forward but there is often subconscious resistance that needs to be dealt with first.  Leos usually are short on confidence, but if you have any old demons holding you back as far as your abilities are concerned there's no time like the present to give them the heave-ho.
