This month shows some promise of being slightly less intense than the last two, at least as far as the number of significant cosmic events are concerned.  You may be dealing with the aftermath of that Cardinal Grand Cross, however, depending what developed.  By the time of the Full Moon on May 14 the Grand Cross is gone but two T-squares remain amongst three of the parties, Mars, Pluto, Uranus and Jupiter though Mars is no longer squaring Jupiter.  Getting Jupiter out of there entirely will help because even though generally he is considered a benefic planet in reality he's more neutral and tends to expand, exaggerate and inflate what he touches, good or bad.  Just think about all the negative news stories the last month or two and you'll see what I mean.  So, we're not out of the woods yet but generally it looks better than it did.

The Full Moon is in fellow Fixed Sign, Scorpio, your 10th house of status, public image, reputation and career.  This suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase for something in this part of your life.  If your birthday is right around February 12 the lunation creates a T-square with your natal Sun and is likely to have more influence.  Saturn, your traditional sign ruler, is retrograde in Scorpio until July 20 and currently squaring your Sun if your birthday is right around February 8.  Saturn transits often bring delays and obstacles and possibly even its characteristic gloom and doom so if you're feeling depressed about your career or status this could be part of the problem.  On the other hand, Saturn in the 10th could be a good thing with the trine from Jupiter in your house of work, suggesting more responsibilities on the way, though they may be delayed.  By the time Saturn goes direct, however, things should come together in what is likely to be a favorable way.  Thus, if you're thinking of applying for a new job or promotion, it wouldn't hurt to do so but bear in mind that it may be a few months before you see anything from it.

If your birthday is around January 30 Mars retrograde is trining your natal Sun which suggests going back to square one with something related to your 9th house.  This includes legal matters, beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, attitudes, religion, politics, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation.  Mars goes direct on May 20 so this lunation could bring attention to something you need to redo.  Mars stations direct in this same degree so you will receive additional energy at that time to help you figure out what he's trying to tell you.  Pluto is still hanging out in your 12th house of dreams, visions, enlightenment, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing where he will be for quite some time to come.  He is quincunx Mercury which implies the need for a change of direction related to communications or perhaps your thoughts regarding romance, children, self-expression and enjoy yourself.  This may involve resolving something from the past that has been holding you back in some way.  Invest some time thinking about this since it could produce a breakthrough that will bring a greater degree of happiness, especially if your birthday is right around the first few days of February.

The New Moon on May 28 is in fellow Air Sign, Gemini, your 5th house of romance, children, ego definition, creativity, entertainment and speculation, suggesting something new coming your way in this part of your life.  If your birthday is right around January 28 it will probably have a stronger influence.  By this time Mars has gone direct so it's finally all systems "go" regarding that 9th house issue described about.  One caution to bear in mind is any financial implications.  It may be easy to be delusional about money right now so if whatever you're considering involves more than you have then you need to go back to the drawing board and figure out a way to achieve your objectives while spending less.  Discussing money matters is favored whether they involve your children or a romantic partner so don't hesitate to bring up the subject.
