This month the Full Moon occurs on July 12 in Capricorn, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets which suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.   If your birthday is right around August 13 then consider if there is something you should change relative to your health or work.  Pluto continues to transit this house which suggests intensive changes are in progress which will be most intense as he is quincunx your natal Sun.  Currently this applies to those of you born right around August 5.  Pluto is retrograde which means he has been in this degree before and is making his second pass.  The first time was the end of January and through February so think about what was going on at that time and whether situations or events that occurred then are making a comeback, particularly if they were left unresolved. 

Pluto is the zodiacal roto-rooter and excels at digging out and exposing corruption.  As nasty as this may sound, his function is ultimately about healing, even as lancing a boil allows the toxins to be expelled so healing can begin.  In this house Pluto could be about your health but it could also be about your work and service activities.  Are there power grabs going on?  Is someone trying to control you?  Or vice versa?  A quincunx indicates the need for a change of course, to defend your position or in some cases as Catch-22.  Be thinking if and how this may apply in principle even if you're not directly affected by this transit at this time.  You've either been through it already if your birthday is before August 5 or it's coming down the pike.  Knowing what's going on is probably why you read these since it gives you an advantage to know what the Universe has in mind for your progress.

The Sun is in Cancer for this lunation, your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, dreams, visions, institutions, confinement, seclusion, hidden enemies, your subconscious mind and self-undoing.  This is a time to gather important insights into who and what you really are, whether or not you like what you see and how to get past anything holding you back from achieving your dreams.  Venus and Mercury are in your 11th house of friends, networking, groups, goals, hopes and wishes which is an excellent time to make new acquaintances and communicate.  These are the people you need to help you achieve those goals that you cannot achieve strictly on your own.  There are some things you can do alone but others require support from others.  Venus is trining Mars in Libra, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel which suggests opportunities connecting these two parts of your life.  Give some thought to how that may apply to your current situation.

Saturn is in fellow Fixed Sign, Scorpio, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings where he has been retrograde for several months, i.e. since the beginning of March.  Saturn generally represents such things as authority, responsibility, wisdom, maturity, stability, and tradition.  He stations direct on July 21.  Saturn retrograde operates at the subconscious level which implies that while the Sun was in your 12th house since the solstice you probably had at least a glimpse of what Saturn was trying to tell you.  If you have no clue, then once Saturn goes direct you're likely to figure it out.  His message is typically about restructuring and rebuilding something which could be your physical house or perhaps one of those other matters associated with the 4th house.  You can change your past by remembering things differently, especially things that may have occurred in your childhood that were traumatic, largely because you lacked understanding.  As the years pass  and you mature you can look back on those instances with new insights and often find a means to let them go.  As the house of endings and new beginnings, this could also be a time when you're initiating a new start of some sort. 

Which brings me to the next notable aspect, a quincunx between Saturn and Uranus which is going to be in effect until the end of August. Uranus is in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, higher learning, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation.  Uranus' energy is full of surprises and can generate numerous unexpected and disruptive events which will most likely apply to matters that reside in the 9th.  He is also about freedom, rebellion, innovation, anything unconventional, breakthroughs, and technology.  If your view of life has been particularly conservative he is probably showing you the other side of the proverbial coin one way or another.  In other words, as Uranus shakes up your current belief system it will bring about a change of course that is going to relate to whatever Saturn is telling you to rebuild.  This is not something simple or easy that you can accomplish overnight but the good news is that the long-term nature of this aspect provides cosmic help.  It's also interesting that Saturn stations direct on July 21 and Uranus stations retrograde on July 22, which is one reason the aspect lasts as long as it does since stationing planets tend to stay in the same degree for quite a while, especially when it's the outer planets.  Uranus retrograde is somewhat unstable so about the time you start putting things together according to Saturn's direction you might start stumbling over a variety of things related to the 9th whether it's legal matters, long-distance travel or even relocating. 

The New Moon on July 26 is in your sign and parked on your natal Sun if your birthday is right around July 26.  Jupiter is about a degree and a half away so his proximity will inflate the effects of the lunation.  Being in your 1st house implies something new coming into your life which will affect you personally.  One thing to keep an eye on, however, is that all three of them (Sun, Moon and Jupiter) are squaring Mars who has just slipped into Scorpio, your 4th house.  Mars has been stuck in Libra, sign of his debility, for several months due to his retrograde gig earlier this year.  Believe me, he was not happy about that.  As the ancient ruler of Scorpio, however, he's now good to go and that is what he wants to do.  However, this square could bring various complications.  This is where you may have to enjoin all the patience you can muster because between Uranus retrograde and this aspect there may be numerous challenges to deal with at this time.

Mercury and Venus have now moved into Cancer, your 12th house as defined earlier.  This can help bring inspiration and insights your way which can help deal with any complications and keep them in the proper perspective.  Draw from past experience, remembering that good decisions come from experience and experience comes from bad decisions.  In other words, learn from your mistakes.  Like Einstein supposed said, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."  This looks like an important time of change for Leos so make the most of it and make it for the better, even if you're reasonably content with where you are now.  As the King of Beasts you know you can do even better.
