This month's New Moon is also a solar eclipse but it will only be visible in parts of northern Australia and the in various parts of the South Pacific.  It occurs in fellow Fixed sign, Scorpio, your 10th house of career, public image, reputation and status, and will square your natal Sun if your birthday is right around February 10, giving it extra punch for you.  Remember that eclipses are lunations on steroids and have a lot more influence which also lasts for a longer time with the degree of the eclipse often becoming a "hot spot" which is activated later by transit.  Thus watch for something of significance to occur in this part of your life if not this month sometime in the future few months.

Recently I've been reading "The Yod Book" by astrologer Karen Hammaker-Zondag which in addition to the title subject has an excellent section on unaspected planets which can be true wildcards or at worst loose cannons in a horoscope.  If you're an astrologer or if you're aware of having either of these in your natal chart I recommend it highly because I've found it worth $1,000,000 of psychotherapy as far as explaining the effect they can have.  I bring this up because the solar eclipse has three unaspected planets which are worth focusing on for potential effects to watch for. 

Jupiter is already in debility in Gemini where he can cause the generation or acquisition of TMI, or too much information.  This is your 5th house of children, romance, entertainment, ego definition and speculation so take note what happens there, especially if your birthday is around February 2nd.  Venus is dignified in Libra, your 9th house of higher learning, legal matters, beliefs and expectations, politics, religion, long-distance travel, foreign cultures and relocation which could bring a happy surprise in that area, especially if your birthday is right around February 8th.  The third and final renegade planet is Mars in Sagittarius, your 11th house of friends, organizations, groups, networking and goals which will influence those of you born right around February 16th the most.  This could translate into some serious drive and ambition in this area in pursuit of something you want.  Aquarians are fortunate that these placements are in fairly friendly aspect/location which is more than some other signs can say.

Mercury stations retrograde on November 6th which just happens to be election day in the USA.  This occurred before in 2000 which turned out to be quite a mess so given the campaign so far it's no surprise if we encounter that again, which is just about as sure as death and taxes with this influence which just happens to occur in the 12th house of the USA Sibley Chart which includes hidden enemies and self-undoing.  Remember all the usual rules for Mercury RX apply to you personally as far as buying anything electronic or mechanical, which could be a bit of a problem with your holiday shopping.  If your birthday is right around January 24th the station will sextile your natal Sun so watch for an opportunity to redo something. The shadow period doesn't end until December 15 but at the least do your best to wait until at least a few days after he goes direct on November 25.  Otherwise be sure to save your receipts.  Part of that retrograde period will be in Scorpio, your 10th house of career and reputation, so rethinking, redoing or revising something there is likely as well. 

Speaking of your 10th house, Saturn is there as is the eclipse itself which may very well stir up a few things careerwise.  No telling what Neptune in dignity in Pisces, your 2nd house of income, possessions, needs and pleasures is up to but he's in cahoots with Saturn, perhaps trying to get a raise.  Neptune implies it may be pie in the sky though the king of the deep also can see dreams come true so with a trine you can hope for the best, but Uranus in Aries, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, siblings and local travel is tied in as well and looks as if he's going to necessitate an adjustment or change of course of some sort with all this.

The Full Moon on November 28 is a lunar eclipse, giving this one additional punch as well.  This one occurs in fellow Air Sign, Gemini, your 5th house of kids, romance and so forth as noted earlier.  This one not only has unaspected planets but two yods as well which bring the potential for all sorts of instability and surprises.  Neptune in Pisces is unaspected, giving him free reign to be himself to the max.  This bodes well for giving yourself a break, relaxing and doing some serious daydreaming, perhaps indulging in some serious visualizing about what you want to accomplish or attain in the coming months.  Mercury is unaspected in Scorpio and not out of his shadow period yet so you could find yourself overwhelmed with data, talk or dirty little secrets that relate to your career or public image, especially if your birthday is right around February 7th.

The first Yod, a.k.a. Finger of God or perhaps Flying Fickle Finger of Fate involves Saturn and Venus at the eye with Uranus and the eclipsed Moon at the base with Jupiter just close enough to the Moon to inflate the effect.  As you may recall Jupiter is in debility in Gemini stirring things up in your 5th house so now an emotional element is added by the Moon, especially an eclipsed one which may bring about suppressed emotions.  Uranus in Aries, an unpredictable planet in an impulsive sign, is in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel, so some surprises there are likely with respect to whatever is happening in the 5th.  However, Saturn and Venus in Scorpio your 10th house, may throw something your way that necessitates some adjustments all around.  Saturn is your ancient sign ruler and also ruler of your 12th house of angels and demons while Venus rules your 4th of home environment, memories, cultural roots and endings/beginnings and 9th of beliefs and expectations.  Throw this all together and it looks as if things may be a bit hectic.

The second Yod is a double yod, increasing the energy mix even more, though it does involve some of the same planets as the first one.  This time the eye is the Jupiter/Moon, primarily the Moon except, as noted earlier, Jupiter is close enough to contribute.  Saturn and Venus comprise part of this one's base with the added components a partile (same degree) conjunction between Pluto and Mars in Capricorn, your 12th house of angels and demons.  The 12th includes such things as inspiration, spirituality, enlightenment, dreams, visions, confinement, seclusion, the collective consciousness, hidden enemies and self-undoing.  Have those two bad boys in that house could be pretty potent.  This implies there could be something below the radar contributing to your career situation that will ultimately have an effect on whatever the Moon is up to in your 5th house.  Needless to say, especially with this being an eclipse, you are likely to see something interesting come from it all.
