Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon this month is on September 15 in fellow Earth Sign, Virgo, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation so watch for something new to come your way in this part of your life. If your birthday is right around is right around May 14 this will have a stronger effect as the lunation will trine your Natal Sun. Those of you born right around April 27 have Pluto trining your Sun which is likely to have some long-term effects on your beliefs and expectations. You may find that something in this part of your life whether it relates to politics, religion, other cultures, higher learning or a legal matter undergoes a complete transformation. Uranus is squaring Pluto, however, from your 12th house which suggests some surprises may be in store. Uranus is the planet of freedom, rebellion, innovation, disruptions and anything unexpected. Your 12th house, which I consider the house of angels and demons, includes inspiration, spirituality, enlightenment, seclusion, confinement, hidden enemies and self-undoing so you can see that Uranus in this environment has a lot of potential for good and not so good. A flash of inspiration would be great but an unexpected move by someone you thought you could trust isn't. However, with Pluto in the 9th it's more likely to be of the inspirational kind and set off a new set of core beliefs. Your sign ruler, Venus, is in Leo and in a wide trine to Uranus from your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings which provides some favorable energy and also reinforces the concept of a new attitude or world view. Jupiter is in Gemini, your 2nd house of income, finances, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures which should bring some luck your way in this part of your life. Jupiter is in debility, however, so what you see may not be what you get. It may be exaggerated or inflated in some way when necessary details are not addressed. Mars in fellow Fixed Sign, Scorpio, is quincunx Jupiter further suggesting a change of course or adjustment with regard to a relationship. In its simplest sense taking action on a relationship may cost you more money than expected so bear that in mind. The Full Moon on September 29 is in nextdoor neighboring sign, Aries, again your 12th house as described above, and the Moon is conjunct Uranus, drawing in more of his erratic energy. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase which will relate to that house and possibly jump start the process implied above. You may see some interesting happenings at work with the Sun, Mercury and Saturn all in Libra, your 6th house, though this could also relate to service activities or perhaps your health. A shift or change of some sort may come your way there as well. Mercury is in a nice trine with the asteroid, Atlantis, which is good for inspired or insightful thought. Saturn is trining Neptune and while these two carry entirely different energies they could work together through a harmonious trine to bring your dreams into reality. Neptune is in Pisces, your 11th house of goals, friends, organizations and networking. Venus is squaring Mars which suggests some tension with the opposite sex. Given their house placement this could relate to someone close to you and also involve your home. Taking action on a relationship is also a possibility and represent a new beginning. Any new relationship introduces change and some degree of tension but not necessarily in a bad way. As an Earth Sign you usually don't require too many reality checks, but just to be sure scrutinize anything in this department carefully. If you can't be objective, get the opinion of someone you trust. Most of the aspects in this regard are generally favorable but there may be a challenge or two to be reckoned with as well. |
