Long-term Aspects and Lunations The New Moon on September 15 is in fellow Mutable sign, Virgo, your 10th house of status, career, public image and reputation which could bring something new your way in this part of your life. Remember that "status" is quite pervasive and covers just about anything in the public record, that involves a title or label, or even what you might post on Facebook. Thus, it doesn't have to be earth-shattering or life-changing. If your birthday is right around December 15 it will square your Natal Sun and thus increase its influence. Mercury is in Virgo as well, sign of his dignity and exaltation, meaning he can function to his very best in that environment. Therefore this is an excellent time to put that energy to work as far as presenting your ideas, communicating with others, particularly in a public or career forum. Your sign ruler, Jupiter, is in a quincunx with Mars which has some interesting implications. Mars is in Scorpio, sign of his ancient rulership where he operates very effectively and incorporates that Scorpio passion into his drive for action. Scorpio is your 12th house of angels and demons which includes spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, imagination, dreams, the collective consciousness, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing. This is where you higher self resides which can be suppressed by your ego. As motivational speaker, Robert Anthony, says, this part of you is your silent partner with whom you need to build a relationship and learn to heed as s/he speaks through your intuition. Thus, this part of you is being activated by this lunation. Jupiter, however, is not quite as well placed. He's in your polar sign, Gemini, where he is in debility. Here he may see only the big picture and neglect important details, have so much information that it's difficult to sift through, or exaggerate and over-inflate a situation, again because he doesn't see the necessary details. A quincunx typically indicates the need for a change of course or direction and sometimes also the need to justify your position. Gemini is your 7th house of relationships including close friends and relatives, your significant other, business partners and professionals as well as competitors. Now is a time to listen to your instincts with regard to these people in your life and make sure they're genuine and not feeding you the proverbial line. Gather the necessary data to make a clear and fact-based decision that synchs up with your gut feeling. Remember that Uranus - Pluto square is still out there as well. If your birthday is right around November 29 Uranus is trining your natal Sun which could bring a creative flash. Uranus is in Aries, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation so watch for something unexpected in one of those areas. While this is likely to be favorable, don't forget that square to Pluto who's in your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, comforts, needs and pleasures. There will be a challenge of some description presented there, perhaps the need to do some serious renovation with regard to your budget. Venus in fellow Fire Sign, Leo, is trining Uranus as well so if your birthday is between November 29 - December 2 it will form a loose but viable Grand Fire Trine with your natal Sun which can be a very lucky aspect pattern. Leo is your 9th house of beliefs and expectations, higher learning, long-distance travel and so forth which Sagittarius rules zodiacally and Venus should bring some good fortune to that part of your life. For example, you may win a trip abroad but you're budget or some other financial obligation throws a damper on it and forces you to eliminate something in order to pursue the benefits. The Full Moon on September 29 is in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, and conjoining Uranus, further activating that energy along with the square to Pluto with the combination resulting in a Cardinal T-square. The Sun is in Libra, your 11th house of friends, goals, groups, organizations and networking, bringing emphasis to that part of your life. The Sun, Mercury and Saturn are all in that sign and house implying lots of activity, good communications and the need to bring more structure to that part of your life. There are some favorable aspects associated with this lunation worth noting. Mercury is trining the asteroid, Atlantis, which typically relates to psychic abilities, more specifically a form of clairvoyance where you can intuitively sense how something will turn out. With Atlantis in your 3rd house of thoughts and ideas this is especially helpful and will relate most to communications with friends and groups and also your personal goals. With Saturn in Libra this makes it an outstanding time to do some serious planning with respect to where you want to go. Further reinforcing this energy is a trine between Saturn and Neptune in Pisces which he rules and thus operates to full advantage. Saturn is exalted in Libra, so these two planets are well-placed to function to their full capacity. While their energies are typically antithetical with Saturn building and Neptune dissolving, in this case, given that Neptune is also full of inspiration, dreams and visions this trine can help you manifest your dreams and achieve a new beginning. |
