Lunations and Long Term Aspects A long-term aspect to be aware of which will actually be in effect for several years involved a square between Uranus who's currently residing in your sign, and Pluto in fellow Cardinal Sign, Capricorn. Given the archetypal energies of these two potentially bad boy planets and given the action-oriented nature of Cardinal Signs, this aspect is likely to turn up in all sorts of places, whether it's your personal life or the world generally. Uranus is all about breaking free, independence, surprises, rebellions, and unexpected events which is certainly further fired up by being in Aries, which can be impulsive and always prefers to take action. Pluto as the god of the Underworld has all sorts of dirty little secrets which will eventually be exposed. Capricorn is the domain of governments and corporations so these energies will combine to produce both power grabs, covert deals, and conversely exposure of corruption. The square aspect places these two energies against each other, which is easy enough to understand since they are antithetical in the first place. On the world scene rebellion against oppression is highly likely and on the personal level this represents breaking away from old restrictions, baggage, or anything else which has been keeping you from being fully independent as Aries prefer to be. This month Uranus is conjunct the Sun of those born approximately between March 26 - 29. Conjunctions are the strongest aspect so brace yourself for what is likely to be some strong astrological influences which may blend a little too well with your nature. Capricorn is your 10th house of status, reputation, career and public image. If your current situation is oppressive, sooner or later this aspect will motivate you to do something about it. The New Moon on September 15 is in Virgo, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. This has interesting implications with Pluto in your 10th house of career in that it could bring something new your way in this part of your life. If your birthday is right around April 13 it could bring a change of direction or perhaps news of its immanence. Your Sign Ruler, Mars, is in Scorpio, sign of its ancient rulership where he functions nearly as well as he does in your sign. Scorpio is your 8th house of transformations, sex, death and regeneration, debt and shared resources and he forms a quincunx with the natal Sun of those born right around April 5th. One caution is warranted here given that Mars in the 8th can have a bad reputation as the harbinger of accidents and such. Mars is quincunx Jupiter in Gemini, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors. Jupiter is debilitated in Gemini where he may have overly inflated ideas which are too grandiose or lack the necessary details to come to fruition if they are not properly scrutinized. Nonetheless, you could come up with a big idea with life-changing implications, especially if your birthday is around April 5th because these two planets will form a yod or finger of God with your Natal Sun. Saturn in Libra, your polar sign which includes close relationships, business partners and competitors, contributes toward structuring something in this part of your life which may be contrary to your personal interests or necessitate a change in your personal plans. Saturn has been retrograde in that neighborhood and recently went direct which is the time that the real work begins. The Full Moon on September 29 is in your sign and right on top of your natal Sun if your birthday is within a day or so of March 28. A Full Moon usually brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase which is also likely to involve a relationship. With the Sun, Mercury and Saturn all in Libra you can expect quite a few relationship matters to come to your attention at this time. Uranus is conjunct the Moon which brings a surprise or unexpected element to it as well as the possible need to break away from someone or something that has been holding you back. Your Sign Ruler, Mars, is still in Scorpio and being squared by Venus in Leo, the 5th house of romance, ego definition, creativity, entertainment and speculation. Of course Venus in your 5th could bring someone new into your life or perhaps even money. The square with Mars puts some tension in the picture which is bound to make things rather interesting. |
