Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon this month is on October 15 in Libra, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets where you should watch for something new to develop. That ongoing square between Uranus and Pluto is still in effect and was described in previous horoscopes which are available on the website. Your sign ruler, Venus, is squaring Jupiter with both planets in signs where they are somewhat dysfunctional which tends to inhibit their benefic natures. Jupiter is in Gemini, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs and pleasures. Jupiter is usually expansive and lucky but in Gemini he may be over-confident or loaded with too many ideas which lack detail. He also goes retrograde on October 4th which changes his energy to what is often directed at ethics issues. Venus is in Virgo where her peace-loving nature is inhibited by Virgo's propensity to be critical and detail-oriented. This is your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation where Venus can have a very favorable effect. Being a bit meticulous and detail-oriented can actually be a good thing in this venue but the square to Jupiter implies that developments in this area may have a negative impact financially. For example, you may come up with a fantastic creative idea which is going to cost a bundle to develop or you may meet the love of your life who is a bit demanding and high-maintenance. Nonetheless, Mercury is tied in with both Venus and Jupiter, however, from your polar sign, Scorpio, which suggests communications from something close to you. This brings up the possibility that someone you already know will introduce you if it involves a romantic interest or if it's a creative project, the idea may come from a close friend or relative, business partner, significant other, etc. Saturn is also in Scorpio which implies an increase in responsibility with regard to a relationship. This will be most noticeable if your birthday is right around the spring equinox because it will oppose your natal Sun. Saturn relates to responsibility, boundaries, structures, and even karma. Saturn is trining Neptune in Pisces, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, networking and goals. Neptune, especially in his own sign, is loaded with inspiration. These two very diverse planets can work together at manifesting your dreams into reality. The houses involved suggest that someone who has been a friend may evolve into a closer relationship. Mars is trining Uranus which bears some watching. Mars is in Sagittarius, your 8th house of transformations, death and regeneration, sex, debt, and shared resources which can sometimes predispose you to accidents so don't take any unnecessary chances. Uranus, planet of surprises, unexpected events, rebellion, innovation and sudden change is in impulsive Aries, your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, dreams, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing. Taureans are not impulsive by nature so that's the good news and there's a chance this may have spiritual connotations that have a transformational effect such as a sudden flash of inspiration. Nonetheless, these two planets tend to have a somewhat bad reputation so watch your back. The Full Moon on October 29 is in your sign. If your birthday is within a day or so of April 26 it will be conjunct your natal Sun and have a stronger effect. A Full Moon usually brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase which is likely to involve a relationship in some way given the Sun is in Scorpio, your 7th house which comprises such people. Your buddy, Venus, has entered Libra, the other sign she rules where she is in dignity and can function nicely. This is your 6th house of work, health, service and pets so she should bring good things to this part of your life. She is sextile Mercury who has entered Sagittarius but he's in debility in that sign, something I know of first hand because I have that placement natally. Mercury in Sag tends to have too many ideas than he can possibly pursue much less complete and tends to underestimate what is required, how long it will take, how costly it will be, etc. This is your aforementioned 8th house of transformations and so forth so the implication is that information from this part of your life, perhaps related to debt or shared resources, is going to have a bearing on work in some way with the possibility you may see some benefit. Mercury is squaring Neptune, however, which can bring confusion or delusion from your house of friends, groups and goals. This could be a caution flag to not believe everything you hear and think it's a panacea when it's going to require some adjustments before it's said and done. Mars is opposing Jupiter from Sagittarius, which means you still should be cautious generally. Jupiter is still retrograde in your house of finances and income, so this is a time when you would do well to review your finances. It's possible that they may be in the cross-hairs of someone or vice versa. In other words if you're looking to get your hands on something that you're a joint owner of or flat-out belongs to someone else, considering whether or not such an action is ethical should be considered. Pluto is forming a favorable connection with the Sun/Moon from fellow Earth Sign, Capricorn, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, other cultures, foreign travel, religion and politics which implies that something in that part of your life that you may have buried or forgotten can help with any relationship or partnership issues which may arise. |
