Long-term Aspects and Lunations The New Moon on October 15 is in Libra, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, networking and goals, specifically those which require the assistance or support of others to achieve. If your birthday is right around December 14 this lunation forms a sextile with your natal Sun which should bring an opportunity in this part of your life. Remember that Pluto and Uranus are still in that ongoing square involving your 2nd and 5th houses which will have long-term effects on your finances, income, possessions, needs and comforts (2nd) as well as your ego definition, creativity, romance, children, entertainment and speculation (5th). Mars is trining Uranus from your sign and is conjunct your natal Sun if you were born right around November 27. This is a favorable aspect for initiating a new project or activity associated with your 5th house. Do so with just a touch of caution, however, given these two planets can be a bit volatile when they get together, albeit harmoniously. Sometimes what is usually considered a favorable aspect such as a trine when it occurs between two potentially malefic planets only means that their effect will be powerful and with Uranus involved could blow up in your face, so to speak. Uranus in your 5th house implies uniqueness, innovation, and breaking away from anything about yourself which isn't authentic. Pluto in your 2nd house of finances is part of this process and may force you to see the material side of your life through entirely different eyes as time progresses. This is a time to rid yourself of anything you no longer need, resolve past issues, and bear in mind that rebirth requires ridding yourself of old encumbrances. Your sign ruler, Jupiter, is in debility in Gemini and squaring Venus in Virgo. These are all fellow mutable signs and if your birthday is right around December 8th it not only forms a T-square with your natal Sun but Jupiter stations retrograde opposite your Sun on October 4. Stationing planet pack quite a wallop so be on the lookout for something that involves a relationship to arise if it hasn't already. The caution from that square is not to have inflated expectations or perhaps expect special favors from someone you know. Just because your brother-in-law needs a new VP doesn't mean you're a shoe-in, if you know what I mean. Mercury is aspecting Venus in a favorable way, however, from Scorpio, your 12th house of dreams, spirituality, inspiration, enlightenment, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing which may bring some useful insights to the situation which allow you to make appropriate adjustments or change course. This could even bring you previously hidden information. Saturn is trining Neptune which has interesting implications as well. These two planets are antithetical but have potential for working well together. Saturn is also in Scorpio, your aforementioned 12th house, which implies you may be operating behind the scenes or perhaps someone is doing so on your behalf. Saturn represents structure, responsibility, boundaries, and often karma. Neptune is in Pisces, the sign he rules and thus in dignity with this your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings. Mixing these energies could manifest your dreams and initiate a new cycle. This is an excellent time to visualize and define what you want and set the Universe in motion to assist you. The Full Moon on October 29 is in Taurus, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets and implies an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase in this part of your life. This could conceivably tie in with that visualizing a new beginning if you don't like your job or something else occurs which turns your sights elsewhere. It could also be as simple as completing a project and moving on to a new one. Venus has entered Libra at this point which puts her in dignity as ruler of that sign. This is a favorable influence for networking, calling in favors, and making new friends. Mercury is now in your sign but he's in debility, a situation I know well since I have this placement natally. The inclination to have more ideas than you can possibly pursue is one possibility, but the sextile with Venus indicates a favorable time for brainstorming, perhaps with a friend or possibly with regard to your goals or maybe both. Neptune is tied in as well, but the square to Mercury suggests there could be delusions or a lack of reality which needs to be addressed, which is highly possible with a strong Neptune and debilitated Mercury. This is where Venus in the 11th, which could represent a female friend, may provide the sanity check you need to use this energy in a favorable manner. Neptune and Saturn are still in trine, so the energy for manifesting your dreams is still there to help things along. Jupiter is now being opposed by Mars, however, which suggests the need for balance or compromise. Jupiter, as noted earlier, is in your 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, competitors and so forth. Mars in your 1st house, or on your natal Sun if your birthday is right around December 7th, will want to take action, but there is likely to be someone holding you back. Remember that Jupiter retrograde often involves ethics or a close examination of your belief system which is likely to come about through a relationship. Pluto in your 2nd house is actually in a favorable position for leveraging the lunation. One possibility is that transforming something about your finances or income will allow you to move forward. For example, perhaps eliminating a major expense or high-maintenance possession will provide the freedom you need to do something that would otherwise be impossible. |
