Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on October 15 is in fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation or what is sometimes called the "fun house." Be on the lookout for something new to occur in this part of your life. If your birthday falls on June 13 it will have a stronger influence because it will trine your natal Sun. This is a rather friendly New Moon which has a variety of potential good stuff attached to it. That ongoing square between Uranus and Pluto is still out there, but we can't do much about that given that it's going to be in effect on and off for quite some time but at least it is no longer exact, though still in orb. There is another square out there to keep an eye on though it's not as ominous or long-lasting which comprises Jupiter in your sign and Venus in Virgo. Jupiter is in debility in your sign where he tends to be too grandiose and come up with too many big pictures to deal with effectively. Venus is in fall in Virgo where her peace-loving nature is compromises by Virgo's critical and detail-oriented environment. Thus, both planets are not able to function to their full, beneficial capacity and will be somewhat dysfunctional, though this is unlikely to be as unfortunate as it would be with two malefic planets in a similar situation. If your birthday is right around June 7 Jupiter is conjunct your natal Sun, which should bring a lot of luck and good fortune your way. Jupiter went retrograde in that degree on October 4 which provides a huge influx of energy as stationing planets tend to do, thus bringing an important period into your life. Virgo is your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, beginnings and endings. Venus in this house is normally a very nice influence but as noted earlier she's in fall, so not quite as beneficial. A square between these two planets sometimes manifests as over-confidence or over-optimism. The good news is that Venus moves relatively quickly so the influence won't be out there very long. However, bear that in mind for until at least a week has passed, better yet, two weeks. You may also encounter some resistance from someone in your household, probably a female, to anything you want to do during that time. This resistance may well be a sanity check that you need so listen carefully to what they have to say. Your sign ruler, Mercury, is in on this as well from Scorpio, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. Your work activities are likely to be busy and data-ridden and thus necessitate a few changes of direction with your personal ambitions. It's possible that someone at home can assist with your work or perhaps working from home is a favorable option. This is likely to be a busy time all around, no matter how you look at it, but you rather be busy than bored so you should be able to manage it. For you Venus in Virgo can be a good thing because it helps you to organize things at home and make them more efficient. Saturn is trining Neptune, a favorable aspect between two very diverse planets which can be useful as well. Saturn is all about discipline, responsibility, structure and building something while Neptune relates to imagination, dreams, inspiration and dissolving things. Combine these in the proper way and something you've envisioned can manifest. Saturn is in your 6th house of work while Neptune is in Pisces, sign of his dignity where he functions at full capacity, and your 10th house of career. This is an excellent tie between these two parts of your life which suggests you can bring one of your career dreams into reality with your job. A trine between Mars and Uranus is another aspect to be aware of. These two can be malefic which means even a favorable aspect such as a trine can turn against you because all it means is that the energy exchange is strong but the results may not be. However, it's my opinion that you can use this cosmic energy or it will use you, meaning that consciously directing it is your best bet. Mars is in Sagittarius, your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, business partners, business professionals, close friends and relatives and competitors while Uranus is in Aries, your 11th house of friends, groups, networking and goals. Put these together in a positive way and someone close to you can perhaps bring a sudden breakthrough with regard to one of your goals or perhaps connect you with someone who can. Put them together in a negative way and someone close to you may do the opposite. So it behooves you to monitor any similar situations to make sure they turn out the way you prefer. The Full Moon on October 29 is in nextdoor neighboring sign, Taurus, your 12th house of dreams, visions, enlightenment, inspiration, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing. A Full Moon usually brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase so look for such in this part of your life. Considering the New Moon and its potential, this could be the culmination of a career goal or other endeavor. Your sign ruler, Mercury, and Neptune are squaring each other which isn't particularly favorable because Neptune can lend considerable confusion to your thought process. If your birthday is right around May 21st this will be even more pronounced. This confusion looks as if it could be information or thoughts from someone close to you with regard to your career. This is not to say that they are wrong. Conversely, they may be providing a sanity check for something you're considering which is pie in the sky. Jupiter is being opposed by Mars, also in your 7th house of relationships, which also suggests opposition with regard to what you want to do. Remembering what I said about Jupiter in your sign earlier, especially for those of you born around June 7, be willing to consider that you may be trying to do too much. An opposition begs for balance and compromise so listen carefully, use your strong powers of logic to sort through it, and act accordingly. A change of course or direction with regard to your job may be required in order to pursue your dreams. Just make sure your approach is realistic. |
