Lunations and Long Term Aspects The New Moon this month is in Libra, your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, business partners, close friends and relatives, business professionals and competitors. Watch for some new person or development to come into your life this month. If your birthday is right around April 12th this lunation will oppose your natal Sun making its influence stronger and thus more likely to occur. This is a relatively friendly New Moon with the only potentially hostile aspect that ongoing Uranus - Pluto square which will be around for a while and was described in earlier horoscopes which can be found on the website. For those of you with birthdays right around March 26, Uranus is currently on your natal Sun which is likely to bring a variety of surprises and disruptions your way. The rest of you Rams may find your life to be more hectic than usual but most of you probably agree that is better than boredom. Those of you with birthdays a few days earlier, i.e. March 24, have Pluto squaring your Sun from your 10th house which can bring various power struggles related to your career or status. Other possibilities include dealing with unresolved matters from the past or transforming your career or status. Your sign ruler, Mars, is in fellow Fire Sign, Sagittarius, and trining Uranus. Sagittarius is your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, other cultures, foreign travel, religion, politics, and relocation so it's quite likely that you will see some action in one of these areas which is likely to come upon you out of the blue. Venus and Jupiter are squared off, both of them in signs where they don't function in their best capacity. Venus is in fall in Virgo where the critical and detailed nature conflicts with her love of peace and beauty and Jupiter is in Gemini where he may have too many ideas with little practical notion for how to bring them about. Jupiter is in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors and Venus in your 6th of work, service, health and pets. You can do the mix and match routine to find the various possibilities with these two in conflict. The good news is that Mercury is sextile Venus and quincunx Jupiter which can bring some help for sorting things out. Mercury is in Scorpio, your 8th house of transformations, sex, death and rebirth, debt, and shared resources where the discerning nature of the sign and natural logic inherent in Mercury can help form any good ideas into viable form. Saturn is also in Scorpio and the trine to Neptune can be useful as well. These two planets are naturally antithetical but in a harmonious trine should be able to work together well. Saturn is all about structure whereas Neptune imagination and enlightenment. Neptune is in Pisces, the sign he rules and therefore in dignity and able to function to full capacity. This is your 12th house of spirituality so this should have a favorable influence on this part of your life. Just remember that the 12th includes other things such as transcendence, inspiration, the collective consciousness, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing. There is thus a fine line between some very good things and those which can bite you. Delusion, deception and confusion are also Neptune's domain so bear that in mind before you convince yourself you can fly like Superman. If nothing else, Saturn is the Lord of Karma and in the house of death with trines between malefic planets not always a good thing, especially in houses that have bad reputations. All that said, this aspect has positive potential for transforming something about your life and attaining new heights if used properly. The Full Moon on October 29 is in nextdoor neighboring sign, Taurus, your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, needs and pleasures. As always, a Full Moon will typically bring an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase. This lunation is not quite as nice as the New Moon and has a few things to watch out for associated with it. For example, there is a square between Mercury and Neptune which again brings to mind the possibility of deception, not thinking clearly, or even being delusional. Mercury is in debility in Sagittarius where he may have more ideas than can be properly executed. This will bring a lot of stimulation to your house of beliefs and such but they may create a crisis of sorts spiritually. One possibility is encountering information which conflicts with your spiritual beliefs. Confusion and difficulty concentrating are another manifestation of this combination. Venus has entered Libra, where she is dignified as its ruler, but opposing Uranus. Venus in your 7th house could definitely relate to a love interest but the opposition to freedom loving Uranus is a clear conflict. Venus and Neptune are in cahoots via a quincunx, however, which may help put things in proper perspective. Even better, Venus and Mercury are sextile, bringing some logical thought to the mix, though, as noted earlier, Mercury isn't on his best behavior. Nonetheless, any logic and ideas are better than none so there is a lot of cosmic help out there to help you sort things out, whatever they may mean for you. |
