Lunations and Long-term Aspects The Full Moon on March 8 is in Virgo, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, goals, and networking which is likely to bring an ending, culmination, or shift to a new phase of something in that part of your life. The Sun is transiting fellow water sign, Pisces, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation so that house is likely to be involved in some way as well. One possibility with this particular placement is that a friend evolves to a new level, perhaps to that of a lover. Some unexpected event or news at work may kick things off in one way or another. Mars, your ancient sign ruler, is retrograde in Virgo which suggests the need to rework something in this part of your life. Mars is also part of a Grand Earth Trine which is likely to have some bearing as well. Other planets involved are Pluto in Capricorn and Jupiter in Taurus, your polar sign. Pluto is in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel, indicating some transformational changes are likely to occur in this part of your life. Pluto as your sign ruler is the source of your deep regenerative power and in your house of thoughts is powerful indeed. Jupiter is in your polar sign, Taurus, which is your 7th house of relationship including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, professionals with whom you interact one-on-one, competitors and cliental if you own your own business. Venus is in Taurus as well, bringing good things to your house of relationships. However, these planets, benefic though they may be, are also opposing your 1st house and it is even more personal than that if your birthday is October 27 or November 1st, give or take a day. Nonetheless, an opposition such as this implies give and take in a balanced fashion and not necessarily a confrontation. Your 3rd, 7th and 11th houses are the known as the "social" houses because they relate to the people in our lives, whether it's your siblings and neighbors, close friends or significant other and more casual friends. Having the Grand Trine in these houses shows an easy flow of energy between them, but that retrograde Mars in the 11th does indicate some reworking is required with your friends or organizational involvement. Mars retrograde can also be passive aggressive so you may encounter this with people in this part of your life or you may even find that you are inclined to be that way while operating with these people. For example, if you're involved with a group that wants you to do something you may agree to do so but never intend to follow through because you simply don't want to look bad by saying no up front or start an argument. One possible scenario for this Grand Trine could be that a sibling or neighbor uncovers something about a friend that causes you to buy back your introduction and pursue a relationship you may have been holding back on. Jupiter and Venus bode well for expanding a romantic relationship so fit that in however it works. Another aspect pattern in this lunation worth mentioning is a Triangle of Potential between Saturn in Libra, Venus in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces. Saturn is in your 12th house of angels in demons which comprises spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, seclusion, confinement, institutions, dreams, hidden enemies and self-undoing as well as the collective consciousness. Being retrograde implies that some restructuring needs to be done with something in this part of your life. The opposition with Venus in your 7th suggests that perhaps finding time for that as well as a budding relationship presents a challenge. Neptune mitigates this dilemma by casting a favorable trine to Saturn and sextile to Venus and implying that some inspiration can help pull these together. Neptune in your 5th house of romance definitely seems like a favorable means to employ. All three planets involved in this aspect pattern are in the signs of their dignity or exaltation, giving their energy a friendly environment in which to operate and thus tending to make their influence more positive. The New Moon on March 22 occurs in Aries, your 6th house of work, service, health and pets. Given that the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Uranus are all clustered together into a major conjunction indicates some surprises will come along here as well. Mercury is retrograde, indicating that the need to redo or rethink something is in order and it may come as a surprise. Perhaps you already turned in a significant project and thought you were done when it comes bouncing back from the top floor for major changes. Also bear in mind that the Grand Trine is still in effect, though this may not relate to this part of your life. Retrograde Mars is still chugging along in your 11th house of friends and now opposing Neptune in your 5th house of ego and romance. Saturn in your 12th of spirituality is trining Neptune, however, which points toward some inspiration on how to restructure that part of you life and may actually come through a child, lover or perhaps your own creativity. |
