Long-term Aspects and Lunations The Full Moon this month on March 8 is in fellow Mutable Sign, Virgo, your 10th house of career, status, reputation and public image. Bear in mind that "status" includes a plethora of situations, similar to what you may indicate as your "status" on Facebook. Thus, it could relate to your career or something entirely different. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination, or shift to a new phase, which you should be able to recognize as occurring with respect to one of those areas. The Sun is transiting Pisces, your 4th house of memories, home environment, endings and cultural roots so this may also provide some idea what is going on. One example involving these two houses could be getting married or conversely divorced, or perhaps moving out from your parents' home or conversely back in. This is certainly fairly common in these difficult economic times we're currently experiencing world-wide. If your birthday is right around December 10 this lunation forms an aspect pattern known as a T-square with your natal Sun and is likely to be even more important. This lunation may start with some unexpected information from a child or romantic partner. It could also be a sudden creative idea that sets it in motion. There is a Grand Earth Trine in effect for most of the month which is in force for both the Full and New Moons. It involves Mars retrograde in Virgo, Pluto in Capricorn, and Jupiter in Taurus. Mars retrograde is in your previously mentioned 10th house which implies the need to redo something in that regard. Mars RX can be passive aggressive as well and may indicate an encounter with such an individual, possibly your boss. It could also push you in that direction, though probably not your usual style. Pluto is in your nextdoor neighboring house, Capricorn, which is your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, comforts, needs, pleasures and those things you value, including your self-esteem. Pluto's presence in this house implies major changes in this part of your life. It is time to eliminate anything you no longer need and take control of your finances. If there is anything amiss in this part of you life it is time to deal with it. Jupiter, your sign ruler, is in your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. This is favorable for expanding this part of your life. This is when you should decide whether it's time to "redo" your career, revamp your budget and perhaps look for a new job if you're unhappy with the one you have. Loving what you do is more important than the paycheck and perhaps it's time to cut back expenses so you can live on less and do something you enjoy more. Stop for a moment to consider that the 2nd, 6th, and 10th houses are all involved and that they are known as the "substance" houses. These are how you earn a living and interact with the world. They all work together in one way or another, or at least they should. Another aspect pattern active for the Full Moon is a Triangle of Potential involving Saturn in Libra, Neptune in Pisces and Venus in Taurus. Saturn in your 11th house of friends, organizations, groups, networking and goals. Being retrograde, Saturn implies that you should be restructuring something in this part of your life. Venus in the 6th is favorable for your work but perhaps it is taking so much of your time that your social interactions are suffering, or vice versa. Neptune mediates the opposition from your 4th house, suggesting inspiration can come from either someone at home or perhaps something deeply rooted in your past, such as a childhood dream you have buried or denied. All three of these planets are in signs where they operate well giving this aspect a fairly positive spin to help you sort these things out. If you want to change careers then networking is particularly important and shouldn't be ignored. You may need to get involved with an entirely different group of people or go about it entirely differently than in the past. The New Moon on March 22 is in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation. The Sun, Moon, Mercury and Uranus are all bunched together in one big conjunction which will bring a few surprises. Considering that Mercury is retrograde, it is likely to involve rethinking, reconsidering or reworking something. For example, if you are trying to sell a book to a publisher it could mean you'll get that greatly desired acceptance provided you do a major rewrite or something like that. Remember that the Grand Trine is still in effect so influencing this as well and may even be contingent on it. Mars retrograde is opposing Neptune which brings matters related to redoing your career and your homelife, past or present, into the picture. Saturn retrograde in the 11th is trining Neptune, however, bringing that networking or goals issues out again. If your goal for this year entails revamping your career, the planets are definitely pulling for you. Take advantage of their energy and messages in any way you can, knowing that what those retrograde planets are trying to say may not be apparent until after they go direct at the dates indicated at the top of this page. |
