Lunations and Long-term Aspects The Full Moon on March 8 is in your polar sign, Virgo, which comprises your 7th house of relationships including close friends and relatives, business partners, competitors, and business professionals with whom you interact on a one-on-one basis. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination, or shift to a new phase which is likely to show up in this part of your life. Someone new may come into your life or an existing relationship may shift to a different level. The Sun in your sign is going to bring emphasis to you personally during this time, in essence your time to "shine." If your birthday happens to be March 9 this will have an even stronger impact since it will occur on your natal Sun and also be an inherent part of your solar return, meaning much of what relates to this lunation will be with you all year long. Given that this is a reasonably favorable lunation, that is a good thing. There is a Grand Earth Trine in force for most of this month which bodes nicely. It comprises Jupiter in Taurus, Mars retrograde in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn in your 3rd, 7th, and 11th houses respectively. First let's look at them individually and then tie them together to get some idea what to expect. First of all Jupiter in Taurus is slightly inhibited because Jupiter likes to expand things whereas Taurus, as a Fixed Sign, isn't too conducive to change. With Taurus your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors, this suggests you don't change your mind easily and how you feel about your siblings and neighbors isn't likely to change much, either. However, Jupiter does imply increased activity or involvement in this part of your life. With Venus also in Taurus the implication is that this will be favorable and enjoyable. Mars retrograde in Virgo, your aforementioned 7th house of relationships, suggests action of some description may be delayed or requires a re-do. If you're involved in any dysfunctional relationships this may be a call to deal with it. It could also indicate passive aggressive behavior, either on your part or that of someone who fits in this part of your life. There may be something you've been trying to accomplish which has been stalled or delayed, typical of Mars retrograde. Pluto in Capricorn is in your 11th house of friends, organizations, goals, and networking. Capricorn is all about structure and Pluto is about digging it up or examining it for instabilities or cracks in a figurative sense. If there is anything or anyone in this part of your life which has outlived its usefulness now is the time to get rid of it and clear the way for something new to come into your life. This may be a case of "if you keep on doing what you've always done, you'll keep on getting what you've always got." Looking at these three influences together, which as noted earlier will be in effect all month, suggests that a new idea or involvement with a neighbor or perhaps siblings may involve the help or support from someone close to you which will encounter resistance and ultimately require some major revamping with regard to your goals or networking routine. It could also indicate that a neighbor or sibling is your source of support during a conflict in a relationship and they help you eliminate some baggage with respect to your goals or perhaps organizational ties. Do the mix and match routine with the houses and see how it fits. Note that Uranus and Mercury are conjunct in Aries, your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, comforts, needs and pleasures, which could stir up something in this part of your life. Mercury goes retrograde later this month which could indicate a breakdown or other financial surprise that could cause a few problems. Another aspect pattern with this lunation is one called a Triangle of Potential which involves an opposition between Venus and Saturn which is mediated by your sign ruler, Neptune. Venus who is in Taurus, sign of her dignity, is also in your 3rd house just a few degrees downstream from Jupiter. She is opposing Saturn retrograde in Libra, sign of his exaltation and your 8th house of transformations, sex, death, debt, shared resources and other people's money. This could represent an idea that has the potential to make some money but may also require a loan, which may be slow in coming. Neptune is now in Pisces, sign he rules as you probably know, so he is also in dignity. Given that Pisces is also your 1st house, at least as far as these horoscopes are concerned, this suggests that you can come up with the inspiration or enlightenment needed to get that figured out. Having all three planets in signs where they operate nicely bodes nicely for a favorable outcome. And speaking of Neptune, if your birthday is right around February 20 he is sitting on your Natal Sun. Being a Pisces this will make you a Pisces on steroids. This is not a bad thing by any means, but it does require a bit more effort to see things clearly. You thrive on transcendence and escaping the mundane already and this will increase this desire or in some cases need. You may enjoy this disconnected feeling and simply float along in a bit of a fog but this might cause a few issues with your relationships. In fact, if you are having any relationship issues at this time, give it a lot of thought. From what I've seen so far Neptune is definitely emanating a lot of influence into Pisces at this time so you are likely to feel it even if he's not anywhere near your natal Sun. This will be great for your imagination but not so good for practical matters. Fortunately that Grand Earth Trine may help you fix an anchor and not float offshore where there be monsters, if you know what I mean. The New Moon on March 22 is in Aries, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finance, comforts, needs and pleasures. This should bring something new in this part of your life. There will be a lot of energy in Aries at this time with the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Uranus all currently residing in this energetic sign. However, Mercury goes retrograde on March 12 which is going to honk things up a bit, especially with all four of those cosmic bodies in conjunction. This suggests a sudden bit of news with financial impact which is going to require reworking a few things, most likely your budget. Remember that Mercury retrograde is not a favorable time to buy anything electronic or mechanical. This is a time to reconsider, rework, and re-plan. That Grand Trine is still in effect but Mars has backed up enough to be in wide but viable opposition to retrograde Mars. This could bring even more difficulties with any relationships where you may not be seeing things clearly or at least not from the other person's point of view. Saturn in your 8th may be of some assistance, however, with getting the insights you need to make a significant transformation change in how you see things. |
