Lunations and Long-Term Aspects The Full Moon on March 8 is in Virgo, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors. With the Sun in fellow Water Sign, Pisces, which is your 9th house of beliefs and expectations, much of the activity this month is likely to be on the mental plane. Of course it's your thoughts which ultimate form your beliefs and perhaps during this time you have been revisiting some of your a priori assumptions and gathering new input. A Full Moon implies an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase which is what to look for with this lunation. With the Moon your sign ruler you can expect these lunations to typically affect you quite strongly. This Full Moon comes with a couple aspect patterns which are good for sorting things out. This is a good thing since there may be some unexpected news or information which comes to the surface which relates to your career, status or public image in some way and you have to deal with. This is where that Grand Earth Trines comes into play, which will be in effect most of the month. It comprises Mars in Virgo, Pluto in Capricorn and Jupiter in Taurus which are in your 3rd, 7th and 11th houses, respectively. These are known as the "Social Houses" because they encompass the various ways we interact with those around us. The 3rd house comprises not only those thoughts and ideas but also your siblings, neighbors, and local travel. Mars is retrograde in that house which slows things down significantly. As far as relating to your siblings and neighbors are concerned it can promote passive aggressive behavior on either their part or possibly yours. Mars RX is a time to re-do something with moving forward difficult if not impossible. Given that the implication is that this Grand Trine is affecting your social interactions, take a look at anything that needs to be reworked in that regard. However, since local travel is also included you should also take a look at how much running around you do every day. If it is affecting your life significantly then don't overlook that as well. Pluto is in Capricorn, your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, business partners, close friends and relatives, professional with whom you interact on a one-on-one basis and also competitors. Pluto has a variety of functions, one of which is to expose corruption and eliminate it. Pluto can signify death but also rebirth and the healing process. He also rules power and control which in your 7th suggests you may encounter numerous individuals on a power trip. It can affect you as well, wanting you to maintain control. Since Pluto will be there for quite a while, you can expect this to be ongoing for quite a while. If your birthday is right around July 1st you are currently experiencing a Pluto transit where this bad boy is opposing your natal Sun. Pluto transits can be quite difficult and result in major life changes. These go on for quite a while, usually at least three years due to Pluto's retrograde cycles and slow movement. You will find when it is over that some part of your life, in this case probably your relationships, will have undergone a major transformation but typically in a favorable way. Those who need to be eliminated from you life will be, even if the process itself is rather painful. Nonetheless, you will be better off when all is said and done. Jupiter is in Taurus, your 11th house of friends, groups, associations, networking and goals. Jupiter in this house suggests an expansion of your interactions in this part of your life. With Venus also in Taurus the implications are that you will be making new friends and connections, setting new potentially lucrative goals and doing well in this part of your life. One possibility for how this Grand Trine is operating as you tie these three planets together might be that you will be reworking your relationship with siblings and neighbors, perhaps eliminating or excavating some close relationships while making various new friends and associates. A Grand Trine represents an easy flow of energy which often seems so natural that you hardly notice it. Nonetheless the influence is there so take a few moments to see how it is manifesting in your life. The other aspect pattern associated with the Full Moon is one known as a Triangle of Potential which involves an opposition between Venus and Saturn. With Venus in Taurus, a sign of her dignity, and Saturn in Libra, the sign of his exaltation, this opposition will be slightly less onerous than it could be. As previously noted Taurus is your 11th house of friends and goals and Libra is your 4th house of memories, home environment, cultural roots and endings. Saturn retrograde suggests restructuring this part of your life in one way or another and balancing it out with the expansion occurring with regard to friendships and perhaps goals. The third party in this Triangle of Potential is Neptune in Pisces, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, legal matters, philosophy of life, religion, politics, long distance travel and relocation. Neptune is also in dignity so all parties involved in this aspect pattern are operating in a friendly sign environment which allows these planets to manifest their energy in a nature manner. Neptune is inspirational, can bring enlightenment, and provide a sense of connection with the world at large. Given that Cancer is typically a very nurturing sign this can provide a good feeling about humanity in general. While you need to keep an eye on being perhaps too idealistic, this can nonetheless be a very nice influence. This aspect pattern is thus likely to bring you to a new and perhaps inspired philosophy of life with regard to the people in your life at all levels and is likely to be quite satisfying. The New Moon on March 22 is in fellow Cardinal Sign, Aries, your 10th house of career, public image, status and reputation. If your birthday is right around June 24 this could bring something new in this part of your life that creates a few challenges. Given that besides the Sun and Moon that Mercury and Uranus are also in that sign and all in conjunction you can expect a few surprises or disruptions. Note that the Grand Trine described above is still in effect and may or may not influence what is going on there. The asteroid, Chiron, known as the "wounded healer," is in Pisces opposite retrograde Mars which implies you may be disappointed with someone such as a sibling or neighbor though it may also simply relate to an idea that isn't working out to your satisfaction. Neptune is trining Saturn, however, which can continue to bring inspiration your way with regard to restructuring something related to your home life, or perhaps your perception of something from your past. Over all the emphasis this month appears to be on relationships which will be quite dynamic during this time but most likely in a generally positive way. |
