Lunations and Long-term Aspects The Full Moon this month on July 3 occurs in Capricorn, your 11th house of goals, friends, organizations and groups, suggesting the ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life. Pluto, who is only four zodiacal degrees upstream from the Moon, is throwing his vibes into the lunation, giving it a transformational effect. This is further emphasized by the fact that Pluto is the eye of a yod, or Finger of God, with Venus and Mercury forming the base. A Yod typically has a fated nature to it where an opportunity converges into an important situation or event. Perhaps looking at the base will yield further information on how this will play out in your life. Venus is in fellow Mutable Sign, Gemini, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings. She is the exalted ruler of your sign and rules your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel and 8th house of transformations. Mercury is in Leo, your 6th house of work, health, service, pets and employees of yours, if you have any, and rules your 4th house of home environment and 7th house of relationships. Tying all this together points toward something such as an opportunity to work at home as you perhaps implement one of your ideas, perhaps a creative one given that the Sun is in Cancer, your 5th house of self-expression, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase so this could be the end of the planning and beginning of implementation, particularly since Saturn recently went direct after spending several months in retrograde, which tends to slow things down and present a variety of obstacles and limitations which should now lift. There could be a surprise element to this finally breaking loose given that Uranus, planet of surprises, is in favorable aspect with the base of the yod. With luck, the surprise may be money given that Uranus is in your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, comforts, needs and pleasures. You can always hope! Uranus is also in a T-square with the lunation, however, which adds an element of stress. Of course sudden success can have stress associated with it, too, since stress is not always a bad thing. Without it you may be totally lazy and unmotivated. Uranus is also all about rapid change, which, no matter how favorable, does institute some level of discomfort until you get settled into the new routine. Fortunately, as a Mutable Sign, you are better at rolling with the punches than your Fixed Sign compadres. Jupiter is also in your 4th house of new beginnings and such, bringing more luck to that arena, especially with Venus there as well. Both are benefic planets which should bring something favorable your way. The trine from Mars in Libra, your 8th house of transformations, to Jupiter, also denotes a favorable change of some significance. Mars is in debility in Libra, somewhat damping his direct energy to the consideration of others, which is not a bad thing as a rule. Your Sign ruler, Neptune, who is dignified and more than comfortable in his home sign of Pisces, is squaring Jupiter, which may be a gentle caution again getting carried away and not seeing things as they really are. For example, if you just landed a nice contract it doesn't mean you can go crazy and buy everything you want, so enjoy what you have and celebrate it accordingly and responsibly. As far as purchases are concerned, bear in mind that Mercury goes retrograde on July 15 so don't buy anything mechanical or electronic from then until at least August 8, even better August 23 when the shadow period is over. I had my refrigerator go out one time during a Mercury retrograde and after living out of an ice chest for two weeks couldn't wait to replace it, which I did a few days after Mercury went direct. While the fridge functions okay it sounds like it's haunted and the freezer handle has a propensity for falling off. If possible, rent something to avoid a purchase of something that is highly likely to be a major lemon. The New Moon on July 18 is in fellow Water Sign, Cancer, your 5th house of self-expression, creativity, romance and so forth as noted earlier. This is a great time to start a new project, especially if the Full Moon saw the culmination of an old one. Saturn is squaring the lunation from your 8th house of transformations, debt, sex, death and rebirth (literal and figurative), and shared resources. The good news is that Saturn is exalted in Libra which mitigates his stern nature to one which is more balanced and fair. Saturn is what helps manifest things into reality so this is a good thing as it applies. This suggests that whatever new situation or event comes your way is going to present a challenge. If it's some new project it may present a major challenge and you may feel as if it's a bit beyond your abilities. Rest assured that you'll grow into it accordingly in a way that will continue you serve you throughout your life in the way of wisdom and experience. There is a somewhat iffy looking T-square out there comprising Uranus, Mars and Pluto. Uranus, as noted earlier, is in your 2nd house of income and finances and would the truth be known he has been squaring Uranus for a while now and will continue to do so for the rest of the year at least. Pluto in your 11th house of goals, friends and groups may force you to make some significant changes in this area. Pluto may want you to eliminate something or someone from this part of your life who is not longer facilitating your growth. It could also imply corruption or power issues in this part of your life. Uranus in the 2nd house can bring money or take it away. Be a bit wary of Pluto that something in your 11th house latches onto your wallet, be it a leachy friend or group. It could perhaps be one of your goals, too, so give it some thought. The T-square is completed by Mars who has moved into position in Libra opposing Uranus. Mars in your 8th house always carries a caution flag because it can make you accident prone or careless, so don't take any unnecessary chances. Note that Mars rules your 2nd house, further endangering your finances or possibly your comfort zone. Jupiter is quincunx Pluto, vying for a change of direction, so give that appropriate attention as well. |
