Lunations and Long-term Aspects The Full Moon on February 7 is in fellow Fixed Sign, Leo, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories and endings. If your birthday is right around May 9th this lunation will form a T-square with your natal Sun and thus bear the potential for stirring up a few things with regard to home and career or status. Jupiter continues to cruise through your sign, which should tend to bring some good luck your way. This is a favorable time to push the envelope a little as far as going after what you want. The effects will be strongest this month for those of you born between April 21 - 27 as Jove contacts your natal Sun. For the Full Moon, Jupiter is opposing Saturn, however, which will tend to place a few limitations on any attempts at expansion. Saturn is retrograde, stationing on the same day as the Full Moon, which institutes further delays. On the positive side, Saturn is in Libra, sign of his exaltation, which brings out his positive side which includes proper discipline, organization and sharing responsibilities with others. In fact, that is a likely way this opposition could play out, where you want to move forward with something at a personal level, but obligations, perhaps on the job, are holding you back. Saturn is deeply involved in this lunation given that he is opposing Jupiter, quincunx your sign ruler, Venus and trining Neptune. The quincunx to Venus, who is exalted in Pisces, suggests the need for a change of direction which could also relate to work. Pisces is your 11th house of friends, networking, group interactions, organizations and goals which require the help of others. Having your sign ruler exalted in this house bodes very well for meeting new people which can be beneficial and just such a person may bring about the needed change of direction at work. Get out there and network, call in favors, or any similar activities if you're trying to effect some changes at work. These will not happen overnight, given that Saturn is retrograde, but putting the proper pieces in place now certainly won't hurt. Neptune has recently entered Pisces, the sign he rules, giving him free rein to be himself. Neptune is all about dreams, inspiration, enlightenment, the collective consciousness, and transcendence, but you need to keep an eye on him because it doesn't take much for such things to wander into the delusion, illusion, or self-deception arena if you're not careful. Nonetheless, this is a favorable time to go after your dream job, whatever that may be. As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day, but with three planets in the sign of their exaltation or rulership it can't hurt to start building the foundation. Pay attention to new people you meet during this time because they may be the connection you need. Mars is retrograde in fellow Earth Sign, Virgo, your 5th house of ego definition, romance, children, entertainment, creativity and speculation. This fits in nicely with long-term planning of a creative nature. Instead of charging forward, which Taurus seldom does anyway unless there is a significant amount of rumination behind it, this energy is very conducive to pondering this part of your life. Mars RX can result in frustration if you're trying to move forward but if you're heading in the wrong direction it's an excellent time to identify where you should go instead. If your birthday is right around May 12th this energy will be especially useful for examining this part of your life. On the other hand, anything currently in progress in this part of your life may stall out for the next few months, but if you roll with it you will be able to use it to your advantage. The New Moon on February 21 is in Pisces, your 11th house of friends and such as defined above. This further reinforces the possibility of meeting someone new, getting involved in a new organization, particularly one which does charity work. As a practical Earth Sign the energy coming your way from Pisces can take you to places only found in your dreams. If your birthday is right around April 22 you are even more likely to find an opportunity through your friends and associates. Jupiter is trining Pluto in fellow Earth Sign, Capricorn, which may bring someone or something from your past to your assistance. Capricorn is your 9th house of higher learning, legal matters, other cultures, foreign travel, beliefs and expectations, so look to this part of your life for something you may have previously missed which will prove useful.
