Long-term Aspects and Lunations The Full Moon this month on April 6 is in Libra, your 11th house of groups, organizations, friends, networking and goals which is likely to bring an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life. Considering that the Sun is in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation, this part of your life is likely to be involved as well. If your birthday is within a day or so of December 10 this lunation will form an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential with your Natal Sun, providing an excellent opportunity for you to leverage these two areas of your life in a beneficial manner. In other words if you're trying to launch a new creative endeavor, for example, then a friend or associate may provide the break to you need to make it happen. There is a long-term aspect coming up with this Full Moon which is going to last nearly the entire year and that is a square between Uranus and Pluto. These two outer planets move slowly, thus the long duration of their various relationships, and they also direct the major themes of your life. Given that neither is particularly known for its friendly nature they bear watching, even though the ultimate results should work in your favor. Uranus is the planet of disruptions, disturbances, unexpected events, surprises, innovation, explosions, technology, individuality, freedom, rebellion and breakthroughs and by his very nature is unpredictable. That is what he does and there's not much you can do about it. With him in impulsive and potentially aggressive Aries his characteristics will be exacerbated, much as when someone who already has a propensity for starting a fight goes to a volatile location, such as a biker bar. Aries is your 5th house as noted earlier which actually works nicely as compared to some of the other houses this sign could land in. However, it may make you a bit undependable and unpredictable, especially when he's trining your Natal Sun, which is the case this month for those of you born between November 25 - 29. You may be bored more easily than usual and have a strong desire to break away from anything you feel is holding you back. It is an excellent time to try something different and will also have a positive effect on your creativity. Pluto is in Capricorn, your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, comforts, needs and pleasures. Pluto is far from the zodiacal party boy and more than likely will be less than welcome in this part of your life. This is definitely not the time to do any creative accounting with your tax return or you may find the IRS or your country's equivalent examining your nether regions with a flashlight. If you have ever done anything the slightest bit off-color in this part of your life it could come back to haunt you during this transit. On the positive side, which believe or not does exist, is the fact that Pluto does unearth corruption. Anything that has been buried unresolved will be dug up by this cosmic bloodhound so that it can be properly disposed of. Thus, Pluto is actually about healing, once all is exposed and dealt with in an appropriate manner. On the other hand, Pluto does rule power so you may encounter a variety of unsavory characters with financial implications during this time. Beware of snake oil salesmen of all kinds. You are intelligent yet sometimes too optimistic so as they say trust but verify. During the Uranus - Pluto square these two planets will be exchanging energy between these two houses in what is likely to be a challenging way. Not all challenges are bad, in fact some simply comprise too much of a good thing, but in this case you need to be diligent in maintaining situational awareness. Here is one possible scenario, given that the 5th house includes romance. Someone suddenly comes into your life whom you think is perfect for you. They may bring out your daring, mischievous side which is a tremendous amount of fun and excitement. This is all well and good, but keep a close eye on your pocketbook. Also be very careful of investments or speculative activities that come out of the blue. Bear in mind that the nuclear bomb was developed under a Uranus - Pluto square and act accordingly. For the purposes of this Full Moon retrograde Mars is quincunx Uranus which may represent a nudge in a different direction with regard to your career. While retrograde, rather than being the pitcher you're the batter and there may be a variety of things coming at you. If this is the case and it relates to the potential for that Uranus - Pluto square, proceed with caution. An aspect pattern known as a T-square is operating with this lunation which comprises retrograde Mars, Venus and Neptune. Venus is in your polar sign, Gemini, your 7th house of close relationships. This includes your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, competitors and open enemies. Venus in this house should generally be a good thing and her sextile with Uranus suggests that someone in this part of your life may provide an interesting opportunity. The square to Mars, however, bears some consideration. Mars is in fellow Mutable Sign, Virgo, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status with status covering anything that might appear in the public record, newspaper, or, for that matter, on Facebook. As noted above, you may find a variety of things coming at you in this part of your life. These are likely to conflict with your relationships in some way, perhaps by keeping you too busy. Mars is opposing Neptune in Pisces, the sign of his rulership, which is your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots and endings, which of course also suggest new beginnings. Neptune in Pisces is a powerful influence but you have to watch Neptune like a hawk because those dreams and products of your imagination can be delusional or entirely unrealistic. For example, if you're contemplating buying a huge house because it's seems to be such an incredible bargain these days, make sure you've done all the math. Balance between dreams and action is implied with someone close to you caught in the middle. The New Moon on April 21 is in Taurus, your 6th house of work, service, health and pets. If your birthday is right around November 24 this may bring something your way which results in a change of course. The trine from the lunation to Mars, which is now direct, implies it will have a favorable influence on your career. Mercury and Uranus are conjunct in Aries which may also give things a shove in a different direction, perhaps based on some unexpected news or perhaps even an innovative idea. Neptune is fueling things with inspiration, so this could bring something your way that will bring about some important changes. Your sign ruler is in Taurus and while he's unaspected he will nonetheless bring some luck to this part of your life so make sure you listen to your instincts and are thus in the right place at the right time. |
