Lunations and Long-Term Aspects The Full Moon on April 6th is in fellow Cardinal Sign, Libra, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots and endings, which of course imply a new beginning or cycle. Those of you with birthday right around July 1st are currently in the midst of a Pluto transit as the lord of the Underworld opposes your natal Sun. This is often a rather grueling time and with Pluto in your 7th house of close relationships, this is the territory he'll be working on to eliminate and/or heal any long-standing issues in this part of your life. This is an excellent time to deal with such matters and even seek counseling if it's more than you can deal with on your own. Pluto is the zodiacal roto-rooter who digs out and exposes old corruption so that it can be cleaned out and ultimately healed. Pluto is squaring Uranus who's in Aries, another Cardinal Sign, and squaring your natal Sun if your birthday is within a day or so of June 27. You can expect all sorts of surprises during that time which are going to relate to your 10th house in some way. The 10th includes your career, status, public image, and reputation, in other words any part of you that is before the public eye whether it is in the public record, newspaper or on Facebook. As the planet of surprises, disruptions, rebellion and freedom Uranus is by his very nature unpredictable. Squaring your natal Sun this could even evoke an entirely unexpected reaction or action on your part. For example, maybe you've tolerated a situation which has had you oppressed for a long time when one day you wake up and decide no more, it's over, and you walk away from whatever or whoever it was and never look back. You may wonder who that person was later and wonder how you found the strength to do what you did, yet realize that it probably had been needed for a goodly long time. Those of you born right around July 9 will have the Sun squaring your natal Sun for this lunation which may have a similar effect of bringing something to your attention which isn't working and needs to be resolved, perhaps impulsively given the energy of Aries is the predominant energy being transmitted. Of course the Moon is also squaring your natal Sun since by definition a Full Moon has the Sun and Moon staring at each other across the zodiac and thus creating a T-square with your natal Sun. You may encounter a conflict between your head and heart at this time such as between work and home or anything else in this category. The Full Moon has a T-square of its own comprising Venus at the apex in nextdoor neighboring sign, Gemini, who's connecting an opposition between Mars in Virgo and Neptune in Pisces, sign of his rulership. Mars is still retrograde at this time in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, siblings and local travel. If you've lacked motivated lately this is likely at least part of the cause, though there should have been some improvement when Mercury went direct on April 4. This is also a time when rather than being the one taking action you find something coming at you right inside the headlights. Venus in your 12th house of angles and demons which includes your spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, confinement, seclusion, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing, may have been stimulating something in this part of your life when conflicts with your thoughts or other 3rd house matter. Perhaps you've wanted to start finding time to meditate or nourish your spirit but your busy schedule prevents that. Neptune is very strong in Pisces with all sorts of inspiration and glimpses into the unseen realm. Pisces is a fellow Water Sign and Neptune is trining your natal Sun if your birthday is right around June 24. Pisces is your 9th house of beliefs and expectations, legal matters, higher learning, religion, politics, foreign travel and relocation. The over-all energy exchange in this T-square will involve a combination of all these influences which could manifest as new inspired beliefs coming your way which you would like to pursue on a spiritual level yet you can't seem to get started. Things should improve when Mars goes direct on April 13, though the shadow period will last until mid to late June, so you may not regain full momentum until that time. The New Moon on April 21 is in Taurus, your 11th house of groups, friends, organizations, and goals, suggesting something new coming your way in this part of your life. Watch for an opportunity to kick it off if your birthday is right around June 23. By this time Mars is direct again and trining the New Moon which will give it further energy. Uranus and Mercury are conjunct in Aries, your 10th house of career and status as mentioned earlier, and quincunx Mars which may bring news that brings about a sudden change of direction. Neptune is throwing some inspiration at the New Moon further fueling those new inspired beliefs, but you will have to strive for an maintain proper balance in order to pursue whatever you have in mind. Pluto and Uranus are still squaring each other, as they will be for a while, so you can expect continued disturbances with regard to your close relationships and perhaps your career as well. With Saturn opposing the New Moon it is likely that some serious restructuring will also be required before you can make any significant progress toward what you want. |
