Lunations and Long-term Aspects This month the New Moon is in your nextdoor neighbor, Scorpio, your 2nd House of possessions, finances, income, needs and pleasures. This lunation will bring something new into this part of your life which will bring a variety of opportunities as well as a challenge or two. The challenge is likely to involve something residing in your 5th House which would be your ego, children, romantic interests, entertainment, speculations, hobbies and so forth and is likely to involve money or the lack thereof. Of course this is pretty normal for this time of year, especially if you have champagne tastes on a beer budget. Your Sign Ruler, Pluto, is settling into Capricorn, your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and short journeys, namely those errands and running around you do every day or trips to familiar places. If you aren't rubbing your hands together while softly murmuring "Muuuhahahahaha" then you clearly don't get the implications of that placement. For those of you who may be astrologically challenged, you certainly already know that you can sniff out information and secrets like a drug dog at the Mexican border. With Pluto in this house your thought processes which are already formidable will essentially be on steroids. This will be particularly true for this lunation since Mercury, natural ruler of communications and thoughts, is in partile conjunction (in the same degree) with Pluto but even for the long haul, having Pluto in Cappy for several years to come gives you an incredible advantage in this part of your life. In addition, there are opportunities out there as well, at least one of which directly relates to Pluto and Mercury. Venus is in your Sign, having entered there again since coming out of retrograde in November. Venus in your Sign will enhance your natural charm and presence; your already project and this will magnify them even further. This, combined with your ability to perceive and synthesize what's going on around you should be able to garner just about anything your little heart desires. Another opportunity lies within your secret 12th House of angels and demons which comprises such things as enlightenment, inspiration, dreams, confinement, institutions, seclusion, hidden enemies (not likely from a Scorpio) and self-undoing. Saturn is currently residing there in Libra, house of Saturn's exaltation. While Saturn can be about limitations, he's also about structure, which implies manifesting something from this part of your life through this New Moon. Yet another opportunity lies with finding the means to do something you've fantasized about with regard to your home environment. Think about something you've wanted then watch for a chance to grab it. The Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse which occurs in Gemini on December 21.
