The New Moon this month is on October 4 in Libra, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets which could bring something new in this part of your life, especially if your birthday is right around May 2. This lunation forms a T-square with that ongoing Uranus - Pluto square, however, which brings a bit of a challenge along for the ride. Uranus is in Aries, your 12th house of spirituality, inspiration, dreams, visions, enlightenment, confinement, seclusion, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing which can bring everything from inspired flashes of utter brilliance to someone blindsiding you and stabbing you in the back. Pluto is in fellow Earth Sign, Capricorn, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, legal matters, philosophy of life, other cultures, long-distance travel, relocation, religion, higher education and politics where he is busy transforming this part of your life. This can include eliminating old attitudes that are holding you back or perhaps a major move or trip abroad. If you do the mix and match routine with the components for these houses involved you can come up with nearly an infinite number of possibilities. Clearly that would be a bit much for this horo, so I'll let you do that with the matters most closely related to your life at this time. Once you have that figured out, then you need to figure out how they will conflict with each other.

Once you have that, then you need to figure in all those planets in Scorpio, your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships. These include your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, cliental and competitors as well as open enemies. The planets involved are Saturn, Mercury, Venus and the lunar North Node. Saturn's position which ties in with the lunation T-square implies that someone you know well could turn on you in some way, so watch your back. It could be an authority figure of some description such as your boss or someone you thought was a friend, but whoever or whatever this happens to be there's an opportunity in there somewhere in that it is likely to facilitate a change of attitude that could be useful in the long haul. Mercury is opposing your natal Sun if your birthday is right around April 27 and suggests some useful information coming your way from someone in your inner circle that could be downright inspirational, particularly with respect to you goals. Venus, your sign ruler, is opposite your natal Sun if your birthday is right around May 18. This could be a new relationship or could also relate to your work in some way. This person or situation could represent a challenge with regard to what you're trying to accomplish at home or with anything new you're trying to jump start.

The Full Moon on October 18 is also a lunar eclipse and occurs in Aries, your 12th house of angels and demons as defined earlier. Eclipses have a lot more staying power than the usual lunation so this could be in effect for months, something to bear in mind if nothing shows up immediately. Lunar eclipses tend to operate on the emotional plane which suggests the potential for an important revelation that affects you deeply. This eclipse is a member of the 16 North family of the Saros series which has a rather nice reputation of bringing important inspiration which you do well to follow. Balancing your creative endeavors or those that involve your children or romance need to be properly balanced with reality, however, as far as your goals are concerned. You also need to keep your friends in the proper perspective and not look upon them in an idealistic manner that could set you up for later disappointment. Your sign ruler, Venus, has moved into Sagittarius, your 8th house of transformations, sex, death and rebirth, things you suppress, shared resources, debt and intense experiences. Her trine with Uranus in your 12th of spirituality could be major players in bringing that inspiration promised by this eclipse. Jupiter is in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel and in Cancer, sign of his exaltation, which can bring many outstanding things your way at this time. However, that trine with Mercury in your 7th house of relationships which implies these ideas may come from someone close to you has a slightly different spin since Mercury is stationing retrograde.

Mercury stations retrograde on October 21 which will further reinforce the effects of the eclipse since the charts are nearly identical except for the Moon, which has moved into your sign and is on your natal Sun if your birthday is right around May 19. A change of direction at work is implied by the quincunx with the Sun in similar degree. The trine with Jupiter is still in effect but now the internalized energy of Mercury is promoting rethinking, reconsidering, revising, reviewing or reworking your ideas in some way.
