The New Moon this month on October 4 is in Libra, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, goals, hopes and wishes. As noted numerous times, Pluto is in your 2nd house of income, possessions, needs, comforts, pleasures and things you value which can have a transformational effect on this part of your life. Anything you no longer need is likely to be eliminated which could spawn a series of cleaning frenzies while you clean the basement, garage and those closets in the back room. Taking control of your income, finances and possessions is favored but if you don't do so someone else might. The square connecting Uranus and Pluto brings in the influence of your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation and implies a conflict between this part of your life and your money house defined earlier. This could arise from playing a bit too much, your kids' activities, an expensive hobby or any number of things that will place these two part of life at odds with one another. The influence from the New Moon in the 11th house of friends implies that group activities, goals or hanging out with friends may also be a problem to this part of your life. Nonetheless, there are opportunities to use this situation to your advantage in some way, especially if your birthday is right around December 3 - 4. It may simply be a matter of trying to do too much and stay on top of a hectic schedule. If the challenge involves chauffeuring kids around, maybe you can work out some carpool arrangement or possibly eliminate a few to keep things under control.

Your 12th house of inspiration, spirituality, enlightenment, your subconscious, the collective consciousness, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing is pretty crowded as Venus, Saturn and Mercury make their way through this domain. Work issues may be ruminating within, perhaps due to some clash with your basic beliefs and expectations. Someone on the job may be trying to undermine you, so watch your back. Money issues could be rumbling around there as well, encouraging you to watch them more closely and perhaps make a few adjustments to your spending. Mercury can facilitate communications from that realm, especially as he trines Neptune which could bring about an inspired new beginning.

The Full Moon on October 18 is also a lunar eclipse and takes place in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity and so forth as defined earlier. If your birthday is right around December 17 this eclipse will have a stronger effect. This eclipse is in the 16 North family of the Saros series and inclined to be a gentle, inspiring one which is certainly good news. If your birthday is right around November 25, this could bring a few challenges, however, as you try to balance home and career issues. Confusion, deception or unclear situations on the homefront could come into play or perhaps the fog could relate to an ending or new beginning of some description or even dealing with old memories. Whatever is going on, it will require some fancy dance steps to balance that out with career ambitions. Your sign ruler, Jupiter, remains in the sign of his exaltation, Cancer, which is a good thing to have in your 8th house of transformations, death and rebirth, sex, shared resources, debt, and things you suppress. He's in a nice trine with Mercury but Mercury is stationing retrograde which brings a time when you need to rethink, reconsider, revise, repair or review something, perhaps at the spiritual or subconscious level.

This ties in nicely with the general meaning of this eclipse which advices that you listen to any inspiration that comes in at this time and follow it. As always remember not to buy anything new at this time and also avoid signing any contracts. In modern times the effects on electronic, communications and mechanical devices is annoying but all that aside, it's a good thing to take time to rethink and reconsider important issues in your life a few times a year, which Mercury assures. There could be a clash between your beliefs and expectations and your spiritual view or perhaps they could even relate to a person who is not only not meeting your expectations but also trying to undermine you. Depending on your relationship with this person perhaps that is what Mercury retrograde's admonition to rethink something is all about.
