The New Moon on October 4 is in Libra, your 8th house of transformations, intense experiences, death and rebirth, sex, debt, shared resources and things you suppress. If your birthday is right around March 2 you will be among those most likely to be influenced by this lunation and experience a change of direction in some part of your life. Those of you born right around February 22 have your sign ruler, Neptune, parked on your natal Sun which could have a variety of different effects ranging from a major brain fog and confusion to inspiration par excellence. If you can recall that part in the beginning of the first movie of the Back to the Future series where Marty cranks up the room-sized amplifiers then tries out his electric guitar, the resulting decibel blast literally knocking him off his feet and his understated comment of "Whoa!" you may get some idea of what this transit may be like. Recognizing its source is helpful, especially since it's going to last until around February next year. Look upon it as a cosmic vacation to the Bahamas and try and stay focused enough to keep your job and convince your loved ones you haven't lost it completely.

Those of you born right around March 9 have a rather pleasant aspect going for you right now as Jupiter trines your natal Sun from Cancer, sign of his exaltation. This should have a tremendously favorable effect on your 5th house of creativity, ego definition, children, romance, entertainment and speculation, so put it to good use while it lasts until roughly mid-October. This aspect will be back for you in December thanks to retrograde motion then again next May with those of you born at other Piscean times the beneficiaries as well sooner or later. Those born between March 1 - 11 get the benefit of a triple hit from the retrograde period, which begins next month. This influence from your traditional sign ruler only comes about every 12 years so take advantage of it while you can. Jupiter also rules Sagittarius, your 10th house of career, so use it to advantage there as well.

This lunation forms a T-square with the ongoing Uranus - Pluto square which is a bit ominous. This could hit you in the finances and have a negative impact to some of your goals, which may undergo a transformation as a result. Rethinking, reviewing and restructuring them is favored, even though this may not be an easy process. In the long run, however, this will be a good thing. Remember that timing is everything and sometimes delays are beneficial. This is also an excellent time to ponder your beliefs, expectations and philosophy of life as well as any political or religious alignments. Taking action at work has been accelerated by Mars in Leo but there may be some conflicts due to those beliefs which need to be revisited.

The Full Moon on October 18 is also a lunar eclipse, increasing its impact and staying power. If you've been kind of day-dreamy or in another dimension this could bring some relationship issues at this time as Mars moves into Virgo, your 7th house. Achieving as much balance as possible between being in a fog and the people in your life is important or you may be the target of some strong criticism. Those of you under the influence of Jupiter now have Mercury sending additional information to your creative efforts from your house of beliefs. However, this is also where things start to slow down a bit since Mercury is in the process of stationing retrograde which will occur in a few days. This being an eclipse that will last for a while, a general theme of reconsidering, rethinking, revising and reworking is emphasized. If your belief system is a bit stuffy, old-fashioned or strict it may undergo a bit of a shift due to unexpected changes to your finances or perhaps simply to relieve your stress level if you're boxing yourself in too much. Venus is in your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status which is usually quite beneficial, but still bear in mind that as far as your relationships are concerned there could be some opposition.

Mercury will be retrograde in your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, religion, politics, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation until November 9. Rethinking matters in this part of your life are favored while embarking on new endeavors in this area are not. These three week periods of Mercury doing the backstroke which usually occur about three times a year are typically a nuisance in this modern age where we're so dependent on electronic and mechanical devices. However, slowing down to rethink and review certain things is usually a good idea. Saturn in your 9th house of beliefs could have a stabilizing effect while Neptune messes with your head but if you're clinging to old paradigms that you need to revise or let go it's a good time to give it some thought. It's important to be authentic, find your true self and define your own set of beliefs, not simply echo those coming in from those around you. What you value and need could undergo significant changes at this time.
