The New Moon on October 4 is in fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 5th house of creativity, children, romance, speculation, entertainment and ego definition, sometimes referred to as the "fun" house.  If your birthday is right around June 2nd this lunation trines your natal Sun and gives it a little more punch.  Watch for something new to come into your life in this sector, even though it's not going to happen overnight or without a few bumps along the way.  Nonetheless, the cosmic climate is definitely better for you than some others.  It's always interesting how whatever is going on with the transits, no matter how harsh, it can be mitigated by the way it interacts with a person's natal chart.  In other words, this lunation forms a T-square with that ongoing formidable square between Uranus and Pluto which is somewhat ominous, but for Gemini natives it looks more as if it spells opportunity.  This, of course is not surprising, with lucky, expansive Jupiter transiting your 2nd house of finances, income, needs, comforts and pleasures. 

That long-term square between Uranus and Pluto looks as if it will bring transformational change to your goals which won't necessarily be easy but nonetheless an opportunity.  This lunation in your 5th house, which is tied into that square, looks as if it will bring a new creative idea, a child, romantic interest or even speculation sometime soon.  Saturn is transiting your 6th house of work, health, service and pets which will provide plenty of discipline and responsibility toward making it happen.  However, it looks as if there may be some changes of course or direction as a result, perhaps simply setting some other goal aside on your own volition though it's possible that you won't have any choice in the matter. 

Work and career are usually intertwined and that is the case currently.  Ideas and information coming your way at this time through your work or job have implications for improving your prospects and may even eventually result in you being an inspiration to others in a very public way.  As these ideas come to you the natural inclination will be to move forward with them.  Gemini natives excel at multiplexing, sometimes to a fault when they have so many things going at once that they bounce from one to another without ever quite completing anything.  However, this may not be possible at this time due to having too much work to do with hard deadlines, forcing you to put it on the back burner for a while.  As you will soon see, that will be a good thing.

The Full Moon on October 18 is in Aries, your 11th house of goals, friends, organizations, groups, hopes and wishes suggesting the ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in that part of your life.  If your birthday is right around June 18 this lunation, which is also a lunar eclipse, will have more impact.  There could be the need to balance career dreams with things that have to be done at home or perhaps even defer them as you get started on a new endeavor.  This will require some of that discipline mentioned earlier.  News or information at work that relates to expanding your income is possible but there's a possibility it will get stalled.  A change of direction with your goals is still indicated and may receive an extra boost from someone close to you who provides moral support for your ideas and aspirations.  However there is one rather important caveat and that is the fact that Mercury, your sign ruler, is stationing retrograde which could bring everything to a screeching halt.

Mercury stations retrograde on October 21, instituting another one of those three week periods of frustration with electronic, communication and mechanical devices, something that undoubtedly was less troubling for our ancestors who didn't have to deal with such things.  Mercury RX is a time designed to rethink, reconsider, rewrite, review, revise, repair or "re" just about anything but it is not conducive to moving forward.  It's possible that this will relate to finishing up old projects before moving on to something new, which is definitely not advisable since anything begun under Mercury retrograde seldom comes to fruition.  However, revising and perfecting what you already have in the hopper is okay and will help clear the slate for those new ideas bombarding you like a mental hail storm.  In the long run this will serve you well and allow you to move forward much more rapidly when you have less distractions and the time is right, which will be no sooner that mid to late November.
