Lunations and Long Term Aspects The New Moon on November 13 is also a solar eclipse which will be visible in parts of northeastern Australia and the South Pacific. As always, an eclipse is a lunation on steroids which has additional power and can last much longer than the typical New Moon. This one occurs in Scorpio, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, networking and goals so watch for something new and significant to come your way in one of these areas. If your birthday is right around January 12 you are even more likely to see something significant so be on the lookout for an opportunity in that area. This eclipse has three unaspected planets which can make them wildcards as they operate freely without the influence of any other planets, giving them free rein to do as they like within their respective signs. Jupiter is in debility in Gemini, your 6th house of work, service, health and pets, which could bring you a boatload of work and activities to deal with in that part of your life. I don't know about you, but I'm already noticing the effects of this one. Being retrograde, these could also involve some ethics issues. The next one is Venus in dignity in Libra, a nice placement in your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status, which could bring some nice blessings to that part of your life, making it a good time to pursue something there. Last but far from least is Mars in Sagittarius, your 12th house of angels and demons which comprises spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, dreams, visions, institutions, confinement, seclusion, hidden enemies and self-undoing. This is an excellent time to take action on a dream though it also is advisable to watch your back, just in case Mars doesn't behave. Further influencing your 12th house is the fact Mercury is retrograde there and squaring Neptune in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors, so there's a chance you'll be rethinking or reconsidering something that you initially thought was inspired but has subsequently proven to be a delusion. Other aspects in this eclipse relate to your sign ruler, Saturn, in Scorpio, your 11th house of friends and goals. Saturn's trine to Neptune has been ongoing and is still being infused by Neptune's inspiration, but may be involved in rethinking or redoing which are typical Mercury RX activities. Uranus is in there with Saturn as well from Aries, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, new beginnings and endings. This looks as if it has the potential be starting over on something and revamping a previous goal. Mercury stations retrograde on November 6th which is election day in the USA and thus likely to be a complete fiasco, as it was in 2000 when this happened before. Remember that the usual admonitions for Mercury RX apply, primarily to use it positively to rework, revise, edit, rethink and reconsider as opposed to moving forward. With the station occurring in your 12th house, this is likely to relate to something there which will ultimately affect your goals or something else in your 11th house, since that is where Mercury is heading and will station direct on November 25. If at all possible, avoid buying anything electronic or mechanical during that time though repairs are okay. The shadow period lasts until December 15, which is a long time to wait to do holiday shopping, but at least wait until a few days after it goes direct. Even then, keep those receipts in a safe place and consider that extended warranty for big ticket items. You may want to stick to clothes and food for those holiday gifts. The Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse on November 28 is in Gemini, close enough to Jupiter for some expansion effects. This is your 6th house of work, health, service and pets and something significant is probably going on there which I'll get to after going over the unaspected planets. Neptune is one of them this time, Saturn now out of range, leaving the king of the deep to dream unrestrained in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors. This could bring anything from total brain fog to incredible inspiration so be prepared for both. Mercury, barely out of retrograde, is also afloat in Scorpio, implying ideas aplenty as far as goals or communications with friends and groups. If you did wind up rethinking something during the retrograde phase, at this point you may be clueless, in which case Neptune's inspiration may be able to help out. This eclipse also has two yods, somewhat destabilizing aspect pattern which is sometimes called the finger of God or the flying fickle finger of fate, to echo from the 60s TV show, "Laugh-in." The first one has Saturn and Venus at the eye in your house of goals, which looks good for structuring plans related to love or money. Its base comprises the Moon in your 6th house of work and such and Uranus in Aries, your 4th of home environment and new beginnings. This looks as if it's pointing toward shifting gears with regard to where you're going with your work as one possibility. The other yod is a double and uses some of the same planets as the first. This time the Moon is at the eye, also in your house of work like the other one, Saturn and Venus are part of its base and two new planets come into play, Pluto and Mars in partile (same degree) conjunction in your sign. If, perchance, your birthday is right around December 30, this is hitting you right in the headlights and is likely to be quite noticeable. These two bad boys denote directed action which could relate to power and control at a personal level. This is thus suggesting that you take control of your life, perhaps with respect to your goals or possibly assistance from friends and associates, and direct it toward your work.
