Lunations and Long-term Aspects The Full Moon on March 8 occurs in nextdoor neighboring sign, Virgo, your 12th house of angels and demons which comprises everything from soup to nuts; in other words, your spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, dreams, seclusion, confinement, institutions, the collective consciousness, hidden enemies and self-undoing. With the Sun transiting your 6th house of work, health and pets it is likely to be involved in some way as well with this lunation indicating an ending, culmination, or shift to a new phase of some sort. This is likely to come about due to some sudden or unexpected news from someone close to you. There is a rather nice Grand Earth Trine in effect most of the month which is included in both the Full and New Moon. Thus it will be in force for long enough to effect some significant changes. It comprises retrograde Mars in Virgo, Pluto in fellow Cardinal Sign, Capricorn, and Jupiter in Taurus. As noted above, Mars is in your 12th of angels and demons and the first thing that comes to mind with this is to watch your back. Mars retrograde can be passive-aggressive and it's in your house of hidden enemies. Granted, a Grand Trine is usually a favorable aspect, BUT it really only means that the energy flows well between the planets. It could also indicate the need to redo something in this part of your life, such as get back into those yoga classes or feeding your spirit in some way such as meditation. But watch your back, just in case. Pluto is in your 4th house of memories, home environment, endings and cultural roots which suggests a major housecleaning in this part of your life, figuratively and/or literally. Pluto is the zodiacal roto-rooter who digs up anything that needs to be eliminated. If your birthday is right around October 2nd Pluto is squaring your natal Sun so this should be quite apparent. Jupiter is in your 8th house of transformations, debt, sex, shared resources and intense experiences and with Venus there this suggests that these should largely be of a favorable nature, though not necessarily. Nonetheless, these two are benefic planets who seldom are blatantly harmful. Putting these three planets and so forth together one possible manifestation may be that trying to resolve an old memory or family issue entails a transformation of some description that takes you to your spiritual roots or something else in that part of your life that needs to be redone. If the hidden enemy possibility was accurate than perhaps someone you thought you could trust precipitated an deep understanding of a home situation. The 4th, 8th and 12th houses are known as the psychic trinity or "endings" houses and with all three involved like this the effect is likely to be on the psychological level. Thus it's possible that whatever is going on will occur entirely on the mental, emotional and spiritual plane. Another aspect pattern in this lunation is a Triangle of Potential between Saturn retrograde in your sign, Venus in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces. First a note on Saturn RX. If your birthday is around October 20 - 23 you are having a Saturn transit this month to your natal Sun. This can be a difficult transit except Libra is the sign of Saturn's exaltation so it may be a bit less grueling. Nonetheless, it is giving you a message to restructure some part of your life, so bear that in mind as well. This is a stronger influence for you than those where the planets are not conjunct a natal planet. The opposition between Saturn and Venus indicates the need for transformation. Venus is your sign ruler and she is in dignity in Taurus, which is a good thing. These two planets can work together nicely to nudge you toward some personal changes that will serve you well. As noted earlier, having Jupiter and Venus in this house should bring more favorable events that other planets might. The third planet involved in this Triangle of Potential is Neptune in Pisces, sign of his dignity. This is your 6th house of work, health and pets as noted earlier. This indicates that this transformation and restructuring activity is likely to originate with your work or job, though it's also possible it could be a health issue. Having Neptune in your 6th can predispose you to illnesses which are hard to identify but given that he's in his dignity this should be less onerous. Neptune and Pisces both have an inspiration nature to them so if you have not been happy in your job this may help you find a new direction. The New Moon on March 22 is in your polar sign, Aries, and 7th house of relationships. This includes not only your significant other but close friends and relatives, business partners, professionals with whom you interact on a one-on-one basis, competitors and cliental, if you have your own business. Such a lunation would typically bring someone new into your life, but given the fact that the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Uranus are all clustered together in a major conjunction this may not be the case. Mercury is retrograde which indicates the need to rethink or reconsider something and Uranus excels at bringing upsets and surprises. If your birthday is anywhere between October 23 - 28 this will oppose your natal Sun and give it even more impact. That Grand Trine is still in effect, so factor it into the equation as well. Retrograde Mars is opposing Neptune at this point, which again has the potential for someone being deceptive at work or trying to undermine you. Again, if you are having any health problems whatsoever it is advisable to address them as well. Neptune and Saturn are in trine, however, which brings that inspiration with regard to your job back home. If someone is indeed trying to undermine you at work, that may be a hint right there that a new course is indicated. |
