Lunations and Long-term Aspects This month's Full Moon occurs on July 3 in fellow Cardinal Sign, Capricorn, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings. If your birthday is within a day or so of October 5th this lunation will form a T-square with your Natal Sun, giving it additional influence. As always a Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase which in this case is likely to involve something about your home life, past or present. Pluto is only four zodiacal degrees upstream from the lunation so he will be lending some of his energy to it as well which usually relates to resolving something from the past or could simply be telling you in no uncertain terms that it's time to clean out the garage, attic or basement, literally or figuratively. Pluto is also at the eye of an aspect pattern known as a yod, a.k.a. Finger of God or, to borrow a term from the 60s comedy show, "Laugh In," the "flying fickle finger of fate," which is really quite applicable given that there is typically a flavor of fate involved. The base of the yod comprises Mercury in Leo and Venus in Gemini which will help determine its effect. Leo is your 11th house of friends, goals, organizations and groups and rules your 9th house of beliefs and 12th of angels and demons, possibly tying them in as well. Mercury is also the natural ruler of thought, communications, information and news. This could well be used to examine your goals or perhaps who you hang out with or spend your time which could be keeping you from taking care of business at home. Venus, natural ruler of love and money and your sign ruler as well as ruler of your 8th house of transformations, reinforcing the Pluto theme, is in your 9th so there is overlap with Mercury ruling that house. This particular combination of houses looks as if you will be processing information at a deep and possibly philosophical level which will have a transformational effect and perhaps bring about an ending and new beginning of some description. Whatever the yod precipitates it's likely to take you by surprise because Uranus is tied into things as well. He is in fellow Cardinal Sign, Aries, your 7th house of relationships including your significant other, business partners, competitors, close friends and relatives. and business professionals. Uranus is disruptive and full of surprises but his aspects, at least as far as the yod is concerned, denote opportunities and perhaps sudden change of a beneficial nature, even though there will be some challenges involved given that he is also squaring Pluto. Jupiter, ruler of your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel is in Gemini, your aforementioned 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, philosophy of life, politics, religion, other cultures and long-distance travel where he is accidentally dignified. He is debilitated in this sign where his "big picture" nature can become overwhelmed with information. He is currently squaring Neptune until mid-month which will exacerbate the situation with confusion. Neptune is in Pisces, which he rules, and also constitutes your 6th house of work, health, service, pets and employees under your direction. While this combination can be extremely inspirational it's not exactly conducive to lucid thought. Thus you may find the first few weeks of July as a time of confusion and lack of direction or perhaps the ability to focus on anything. This could be a time of tremendous job dissatisfaction, pondering why you're in the line of work you are, or other similar thoughts. Depending on the nature of your work this could predispose you to mistakes or accidents through distraction so be extra careful and recognize what the source is of the fog, which will lift by around the 15th. The New Moon on July 18 is in fellow Cardinal Sign, Cancer, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status. This could bring new responsibilities your way that present a bit of a challenge, considering the lunation's square with Saturn. Saturn is in Libra where he is exalted and thus functions in a less malefic way than he can elsewhere. His stern, disciplined nature is imbued with logic, fairness and balance which will help substantially. If your birthday is right around October 16 Saturn is transiting your Natal Sun which can be a bit uncomfortable as he may rub your nose in various responsibilities and obligations and generally push you to reorganize you life. If the lunation brings you something new careerwise then this may be necessary in order for you to handle everything. Mars has moved into your sign this month where he is in debility. He typically like to take action unencumbered but in Libra he must consider others before taking action, slowing him down. He has moved into position opposing Uranus and squaring Pluto, thus forming a Cardinal T-square comprised of three malefic planets which doesn't look very pretty, especially since their placement for other Cardinal signs like yourself puts them in angular houses where the true action lies in your life. Thus, you have Pluto digging up heaven knows what in your home environment, Uranus stirring up your relationships and now Mars after you, especially if you don't use that energy such that it then uses you, meaning you may come under attack. Jupiter may possibly mitigate it a bit from fellow Air Sign, Gemini, where you can gather the needed information to perhaps expand your attitude in such a way to handle it all. You do have Jupiter and Venus in your 9th house, both of whom are benefics, and thus should be bringing some good fortune to this part of your life as well as additional understanding. In other words, with appropriate optimism and tolerance you can make your way through whatever situation is there and come out on top on the other side. |
