Lunations and Long-term Aspects The month the Full Moon is on July 3 in Capricorn, your 6th house of work, health and pets. This suggests a culmination or ending to something in this part of your life accompanied by a change of direction, particularly if your birthday is right around August 4. The Moon is only four zodiacal degrees downstream from Pluto, giving the god of the Underworld a bit of emphasis along with his long-term square with Uranus, the latter of which is forming a T-square with the lunation. If you're not into astrology that is probably a bunch of astrologese that makes your eyes glaze over so let me explain. Uranus is in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 9th house of legal matters, higher learning, other cultures, beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, politics, religion and long distance travel. Uranus by his very nature is unpredictable so you can expect all sorts of things to take you by surprise in this part of your life over the next few years. In cahoots with this Full Moon these surprises will also relate to your 6th and 12th houses. At previously noted, the 6th is work and health and the 12th is your angels and demons house which comprises spirituality, dreams, inspiration, enlightenment, the collective consciousness, institutions, confinement, seclusion, hidden enemies and self-undoing. One way this could manifest would be to find that someone at work has been trying to undermine your efforts and thus cause you to make some radical changes to your beliefs and expectations with regard to your coworkers. Bear in mind the 6th house also includes employees, such as any contractors you hire to do work on your house, housekeepers, gardeners, etc. If this is the case be sure to keep a close eye on them and make sure the work is done correctly and they're not covering something up. Also watch your back with regard to surprise legal action from any of these individuals. You know how that can go in this crazy world we live in, someone breaks into your house and trips over something, breaking a leg, and then suing YOU. Another thing to watch out for, especially those of you in the USA, is fireworks, ruled by Uranus. There is also a yod, also known as a Finger of God, which involves Pluto at the eye with Mercury in Leo and Venus in Gemini forming the base. Pluto in your 6th implies that all sorts of secrets are likely to surface in this part of your life and you may also encounter control issues, either your own or being directed at you. Mercury in Leo is neutral and generally indicates news, thoughts, communications or information. If your birthday is within a day or so of July 30 Mercury will be conjunct your natal Sun, tying you into this more closely. Venus is in your 11th house of goals, friends, organizations and networking which should be very fortuitous for making new friends and connections as well as pursuing your goals, including those of a financial nature. Putting all this together you could make a discovery at work which helps you attain a raise or bonus and thus achieve a monetary goal. You may also have a conversation with a coworker that brings you pertinent information. Uranus is tied into Venus and Mercury as well, bringing a surprise or unexpected flavor to it all that has various opportunities attached. Mars just entered Libra, sign of his debility and your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors as well as local travel. Mars cannot function in his usual straight-forward manner in this sign which forces him to first consider the will of others. Saturn is already in Libra where he just came out of retrograde and Saturn is exalted in that sign where his discipline blends well with the fairness aspects of Libra. This bodes well for negotiations and with Mars trining Jupiter in your 11th, this could apply to expanding your goals as well. Jupiter is squaring Neptune/8th which could bring some inspiration to the mix and have a profound effect on you in some manner. The New Moon on July 18 is in Cancer, your 12th house of angels and demons as defined above. Considering that the Moon is in the sign of its rulership this allows this lunation to have a lot of Cancerian energy. The Sun/Moon pair is in a separating square with Saturn in your 3rd house of thoughts and so forth. Saturn is exalted so we are dealing with dignified entities that tend to operate in a more favorable manner than when they're in a sign they aren't compatible with as far as their energy is concerned. Therefore this square can bring significant insights and enlightenment which could come in handy if you're dealing with any issues with a sibling or neighbor or even your daily commute. For the Full Moon we had a T-square formed by the lunation with Uranus at the apex. For the New Moon we have a T-square separate from the lunation between Uranus, Mars and Pluto. This has a bit of an ominous feel to it and thus throws numerous caution flags. For one thing, it's not much of a stretch to consider the possibility for various hazards when you have three malefic planets in hard aspect. The good news is that they are in your 3rd, 6th and 9th houses, all cadent, which makes them a little more likely to be incidental but they still are in Cardinal signs which imply action. Mars in the 3rd implies taking action on an idea but it will necessitate considering the opinions of others. It could also indicate conflict with a sibling or neighbor or the potential for accidents during local travel. Worst case, this could be an accident on your way to work for which you get sued. It could also indicate someone on a power trip not only squashes your idea but then turns around and takes out a patent on it. These, of course, are extremes, but possible under such an aspect. On a less dramatic side you may simply get involved with your local community association, find out the contractors are a bunch of crooks and decide to sue them. There is a mitigating aspect to the T-square from Jupiter, however, who is forming a Triangle of Potential with Uranus and Mars from Gemini. Jupiter is in debility in Gemini where his "big picture" nature can be over-whelmed with detail. Nonetheless, this looks as if the mess, however it might manifest, could be resolved through the wise intervention of a friend or organization. |
