With the Sun in fellow Earth Sign, Virgo, your 5th house of ego definition, children, romance, entertainment and speculation there may be some involvement with this part of your life as well. You sign ruler, Venus, is in Virgo as well which is a favorable place for her to enhance your creativity or chances for romance. Venus is sextile Mars in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, siblings and short journeys which indicates an opportunity to pursue a creative idea or possibly something else you enjoy. She is also quincunx Neptune in your 10th house of career, status, reputation and public image which indicates the possibility of a change of direction or adjustment between your creativity or ego and your status. With Neptune in this house you need to be a bit careful because he can be quite deceptive or fog your judgment. Neptune can also be inspirational, however, so this may also help you decide what you'd really like to be when you grow up and then shift your sights in that direction. Status as it applies to the 10th house is rather broad and includes anything that could appear in the newspaper or in the public record. For example getting married or divorced, obtaining a license of any sort, receiving an honor or conversely going bankrupt or being arrested, becoming a parent for the first time or your last child leaving the nest, a promotion or being fired all relate to this house. Jupiter has an expansive nature as well as a significant amount of luck associated with him which you can put to work in your favor. However, he just went retrograde the end of August which typically internalizes his energy, often to focus on philosophical and ethics issues. This would be a time to examine your own behavior to make sure it's all above board. Mercury is trining Jupiter from your 5th house which implies expansive ideas of a creative nature as well as further developing how you express yourself and who you are. This would be an excellent time to make any presentations or promote your own interests, particularly as they relate to your creativity. Mercury is very active in this lunation due to aspecting four different planets. First of all be wary of deception, whether from others or self-imposed. Mercury is opposing Neptune which as noted earlier is in your 10th house. Also, don't believe everything you hear or think, for that matter, particularly as it applies to romance. If you have children they may be more inclined to lie to you during this time as well. Mercury is quincunx Uranus in Aries, your 12th house of inspiration, spirituality, enlightenment, the collective consciousness, hidden enemies, seclusion, confinement, institutions and self-undoing. Uranus can bring flashes of innovation and creativity which could come from a deep, spiritual source at this time and bring about a change of direction. Just make sure you don't do something too impulsively that you regret later; remember this is the house of self-undoing. Be particularly careful at this time of what you say. Typically Taureans are pretty good with thinking before they speak unless your natal Mercury is in Aries or Gemini. If this is the case, definitely think before you say something or it may come back to bite you later. Uranus is squaring Pluto in fellow Earth Sign, Capricorn, your 9th house of long-distance travel, higher learning, beliefs and expectations, other cultures, religion, politics and legal matters. Pluto is going to be in that sign for a long, long time where he will be excavating just about everything in this part of your life. If your birthday is right around April 25, give or take a day, you are probably feeling some of these effects now. This will be a time to examine this part of your life under a microscope and discard anything you no longer need. Some caution is advised, however, due to that Uranus square which could cause you to get rid of something too impulsively. With the houses involved including both spirituality and religion, you may encounter a crisis with your beliefs. This triangular configuration between Mercury, Uranus and Pluto can help you decide exactly what you do believe, find unique ways to express your spirituality and reaffirm who you really are as opposed to simply pleasing those around you. The New Moon on September 27 is in Libra, your 6th house of work, health and pets. Watch for something new to come into your life in this area. With the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn all in this sign, you can expect some activity in this area. By this time Mars has moved into Leo, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories and endings, and is sextile the New Moon and Mercury which suggests an opportunity at work arising from something at home. Perhaps you'll come up with a creative idea that relates to work while cleaning out the garage, who knows? There are two more of those triangular configurations in this lunation which indicate some changes of direction as the result of a challenge which will ultimate work in your favor. Pluto is the key to resolving this crisis as you examine your beliefs at a deep level and reset your priorities, if necessary. Another relates to that spiritual/religious conflict or similar conflict, which can be resolved by taking action at home, whether it's through pondering the situation while you do any needed work or perhaps making the time to meditate or pursue some other activity that helps you discover more about yourself. This lunation is part of a T-square that includes Pluto and Uranus which indicates there could be some new challenges at work that challenge your beliefs or expectations and also stimulate your sense of rebellion or need to break free. Examining your beliefs and expectations is called for again here as whatever occurs at work is going to once again remind you of any conflicts or discrepancy between your core beliefs and what you really want to become. |
