Lunations and Long-term Aspects The Full Moon on September 12 is in fellow Water Sign, Pisces, your 5th house of ego development, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation which will bring a culmination, ending or shift to a new phase to something in this part of your life. With the Sun in Virgo, your 11th house of friends, networking, group activities, organizational ties and goals, there is likely to be some sort of connection here as well. The possibilities are broad and diverse and far too many to try to enumerate here so I'll leave it up to you to do the mix and match routine in the context of your life to figure out what to expect. If your birthday is within a day or so of November 12 this will have a stronger effect and should work in your favor as you act upon an opportunity that comes your way. One example would be a friend connecting you with either a chance to put your creativity to work, introducing you to a love interest or new hobby or reaching a milestone with one of your goals which involves your children. Your sign ruler, Pluto, is involved in a closed loop triangular configuration with both Uranus and Mercury. Pluto is in your 3rd house of ideas, thoughts, neighbors, siblings and short journeys such as your daily commute and errands. Pluto in the 3rd puts Scorpios on steroids as far as their thoughts and ideas are concerned. You're already discerning, but this will give you a decided advantage for rooting out hidden information and giving your thought process even deeper dimensions. The square with Uranus, however, bears watching given that Uranus is in your 6th house of work, health and pets. You may come across something that causes some disruptions or problems at work or perhaps you will have a strong desire to break free from your current job and pursue some new endeavor. Mercury is mitigating this hard aspect somewhat, however. His quincunx with Uranus implies a change of direction or adjustment at work which could relate to news from a friend or through networking with his trine to Pluto further suggesting something favorable coming from whatever this discovery may be. Jupiter in fellow Fixed Sign, Taurus, which is also your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships, will provide some favorable energy for expansion in this part of your life. Remember this house includes not only significant others but close friends and relatives, business partners, competitors and business professionals with whom you interact on a one on one basis. Mercury is trining Jupiter as well, implying that either a friendship or casual acquaintance could evolve into something more or that a friend introduces you to someone in the relationship category. This could be as simple as getting a referral for a good financial advisor to something even more exciting, depending on your circumstances. Mercury is extremely tied in with four other planets which indicates staying connected with your friends and any organizations is extremely important this month. The New Moon on September 27 is in nextdoor neighboring sign, Libra, your 12th house of inspiration, spirituality, enlightenment, the collective consciousness, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing or what I often call the woo-woo or angels and demons house. There is a lot of energy in Libra for this lunation including the Sun and Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn, putting a heavy emphasis on this part of your life. Thus it behooves you to find some quiet time and consider what is going on in this part of your life, whether it's something good or challenging. This is an excellent time to tackle any self-defeating behaviors you may have or likewise to seek inspiration and enlightenment. The Sun, Moon and Mercury are sextile Mars, your traditional sign ruler, who has moved into Leo, your 10th house of career, reputation, status and public image. Those born October 25 - 29 are most likely to feel these energies. This aspect implies some definite soul-searching with regard to where you want to go with your career. If you're in a job you dislike this would be an excellent time to identify what you would prefer to be doing for your income. Once you determine what that new career may be, however, you will have some challenges along the way to get there. A complete renovation of your thought processes is indicated by a square to Pluto in your 3rd house of thoughts and so forth. Pluto is also squaring Uranus, as noted earlier which relates to either disruptions at work or possibly the need to rebel or break away from your current situation there. It's easy to get caught in a loop where we cannot pursue those things we love because of having too many obligations to meet that require a day job. Your sign ruler, Pluto, is helping, however, not only through deepening your thought processes and helping you do some housecleaning with regard to your attitude but he is quincunx Mars which will help you change direction with your career. Mars is trining Uranus as well, a harmonious aspect which can assist with moving forward in a different direction. Pluto is also being trined by Jupiter in your 7th house which indicates someone close to you can help with your thought process and defining what you want though this person may not be very supportive with regard to your career. At this point I need to point out that I've put a lot of emphasis on career here due to Mars being in the 10th house but that is not the only element that resides in the 10th. Your general status is also represented there which covers a broad spectrum of possibilities. Status in this context typically means just about anything that could appear in the newspaper or public record. It includes licenses, titles, and labels, whether its marriage or divorce, starting a business, getting a driver's license, having your first child or having the last one leave home, becoming a property owner, or on the negative side going bankrupt or being arrested. Thus, if your career is stable you might consider these other areas to see how these energies will manifest in your life.
