Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon this month is in your polar sign, Taurus, your 7th house of close relationships. This implies there will be something new coming your way in this part of your life which could mean a new phase of an existing relationship or perhaps someone new. Remember that this includes not only your significant other but close friends and relatives, anyone else you have a one-on-one relationship with as well as business partners and various professionals from your accountant to your hair stylist. Saturn has been retrograde in neighboring Libra for the past few months and will continue that way for the next month. This restructuring process should serve to strengthen the relationship and put it on a firmer foundation that it was initially and this lunation will help bring that about. There are five planets in Aries for the New Moon which places a whole bunch of energy in your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. There has probably been a lot going on in this part of your life, perhaps too much. These events may be serving as a distraction and keeping you from making the progress you need to which Saturn is trying to bring about. While your work and health issues are certainly important don't let them entirely keep you from pondering other issues which will have a more important bearing on your quality of life in the long run. While these Aries planets probably have you hopping to the point of being too busy, you probably aren't accomplishing much, either. Nonetheless, if you focus on what you want to achieve then you can put it to good use, just make sure you envision the end result you want or this energy may take you every which way but the one you want to go. Pluto, as noted in previous months, is settled into Capricorn which is your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, siblings, and trips to familiar places where he is digging around for secrets and buried issues which need to be resolved. This will be ongoing for years but are going to have some influence on how this New Moon plays out because there are implications that something of this nature may be holding you back from the spiritual progress you need to make and also your destiny as far as your work is concerned. Neptune moved into Pisces recently though he will return to Aquarius between August this year and February 2012 due to retrograde motion. After that he'll be there for the long haul where he will be cruising along in your 5th house of creativity, romance, children, entertainment, speculation and ego definition. Neptune can be very inspiration and thus extremely useful in this part of your life. The main thing to watch for is delusions or being too idealistic. He has a real knack for showing you things others miss, those things that shuffle around in another dimension that may not be real though they could also be a vision of what's to come. Managed properly, this can be a very useful tool, particularly if you're in a profession where creativity is essential to your success. Currently his strongest influence will be those of you born around October 24. Since he moves quite slowly, this will be in effect for quite a while, though it will fade away for a time when Neptune returns to Aquarius, then return when he comes back. The Full Moon on May 17 is in your sign and will have the strongest effect on those of you born within a day or so of November 19th. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new level or phase. Being in your 1st house this indicates some personal growth. By this time Aries only has two planets with the other three joining the Sun in Taurus. This will bring their energy to your relationships and help to resolve anything going on in that part of your life, one way or the other. Venus and Mercury in particular will be helpful for favorable communications with Mars' there, also, but his aggression held back significantly in this sign. Make sure that you keep your feet on the ground and take off any rose-colored glasses which may be affecting how you see any situations that involve people close to you. Be receptive to inspiration without exceeding the bounds of what is realistic. In other words, prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.
