Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on May 3rd is in nextdoor neighbor sign, Taurus, your 12th house of spirituality, dreams, enlightenment, inspiration, institutions, seclusion, confinement, self-undoing and hidden enemies. This is your house of angels and demons which involves those things that are largely unseen and often unexplainable in a logical way. Of course Gemini is the poster child for logic, so this may be a part of your life that you tend to ignore. If you pay attention to it at all, it's probably in a logical way, trying to understand and explain what goes on there. If this is somewhat unfamiliar territory for you this New Moon represents the opportunity to watch for something new to come your way and further define its function. If your birthday is within a day or so of June 1st this is even more likely to come your way in a manner that you'll recognize readily. Saturn continues to do the backstroke in fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 5th house of creativity, ego definition, children, romance, entertainment, hobbies and speculation which implies that something in that part of your life will be undergoing some restructuring over the coming months. The New Moon forms a quincunx with Saturn which implies a change of course as a result of this 12th house discovery or insight. One example would be being inspired in such a way that you get involved in a new hobby or enjoyable activity. Until the middle of the month there is still a plethora of planets in Aries providing a tremendous amount of energy to your 11th house of friends, groups, networking, organizations, goals, hopes and wishes. This is a time to continue to watch for a variety of opportunities coming your way from people you know. The chance to pursue your goals due to assistance from others is another possibility. It's not very often that there are so many planets in a single sign so this influx of energy won't happen again for a while and certainly not in Aries. Thus be sure to put yourself in the position to take advantage of these contacts in any way you can. Venus and your sign ruler, Mercury, are competing with Saturn in your 5th, however, implying that these activities with others may take you away from that creative effort or perhaps offer some alternate courses that don't fit your original plans. Considering the fact that Saturn is retrograde, making significant progress isn't going to be very likely for a while anyway, so you may as well indulge in socializing and garnering any ideas or connections that will be beneficial in the long run. Pluto is in Capricorn for the long haul and forming a quincunx to the natal Sun for those of you born within a day or so of May 29th. This suggests a change of direction which is going to have a transformational effect on you. Pluto is accidentally dignified in your 8th House, giving him additional energy and power to make significant changes in your life. These may not always be to your liking but will serve you well over time. The Full Moon on May 17 is in Scorpio, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. Watch for an ending, culmination or shift to a different phase of something in this part of your life. This may come in the form of a slight change of direction or change of course, perhaps a catch-22 situation that requires an adjustment to this part of your life, perhaps due to increased involvement with a group of some sort. You may experience a life-changing situation or event of a positive nature as well that will help you with some of the decisions you need to make with regard to how you spend your time. Neptune has recently stepped into Pisces, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image, and status which is worth noting. While he'll go back into Aquarius for a while between August and November due to retrograde motion, he is largely there for a long time so it will do you more good to recognize his presence and what he may be able to do for you in that location. Neptune provides a view of those things which defy logic and fit into the 12th House as defined earlier. This can be inspiration or disillusionment, thus being dubbed the house of angels and demons. Pisces being a Mutable Sign like Gemini, this sign squares yours and could lean a bit toward dreaminess or being unrealistic about your career, reputation and so forth. The positive side is pure inspiration, being an inspiration to others and so forth but you need to make sure you keep within the bounds of realities. Most Geminis don't have a problem with that, but it's important to be aware of the potential ways in which that energy will manifest. It can provide great insights and information that your logical mind often misses so don't automatically dismiss its promptings, either. The entire Universe doesn't operate on logic alone so this can expand your aspirations in this area and open doors you may not have seen otherwise. By mid-month Venus, Mercury and Mars have all moved into Taurus, joining the Sun, so this will further increase the potential for discovering something new in your 12th House. Again, this provides you with a golden opportunity to familiarize yourself with how this part of your life operates and how you can integrate it into your life. |
