Lunations and Long-Term Aspects The New Moon on May 3rd is in Taurus, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, networking, goals, hopes and wishes. This it the time to put something new together in this part of your life. If your birthday is right around July 5th keep watch for an opportunity to come your way in this part of your life. That parade of planets in Aries is still hanging out in your 10th house of career, reputation, status and public image, making it an excellent time to put emphasis on this part of your life while it lasts, which won't be much longer; by the Full Moon most of them will have moved into Taurus. Thus, put that energy into your career or other 10th house area for now, but bear in mind that the time has come for something new with regard to your goals. Of course this sounds all well and good, but you have probably also noticed some resistance with furthering this part of your life, most likely from the homefront and associated obligations and responsibilities there. This is being exacerbated by Saturn retrograde in that sign which will be affecting those of you with that July 5th birthday, give or take a day, the most. Your poor, little Natal Sun is at the apex of a T-square with Saturn in Libra and Venus and Mercury in Aries, so you are dealing with a variety of issues right now which probably have you fairly stressed out. Being a Water Sign ruled by the Moon, you are the poster child for deep emotions and if these issues are something that mean a lot to you in one way or another, and surely any home responsibilities are in that category, then you probably could use a good massage and an adult beverage of some description. Thus, when you're thinking about goals as implied by this New Moon, don't forget yourself and determining what you may be able to do to reduce that stress. Those of you born within a day or so of June 30 have Pluto opposing your Natal Sun, which typically isn't exactly a stellar experience. With Pluto in your 7th house of relationships, this is going to have a transformation effect on this part of your life. You can expect major changes with regard to the people close to you, how you relate to each other, and probably even find that you decide some of them are rather useless and decide to defriend them, not on in the social media domain but your real life as well. You are caring by nature which means that people probably exploit that and take advantage of you. You can certainly give them sympathy and compassion, which is free, but don't feel as if you need to use your Cardinal Sign energy to fix every problem they may have. You've got enough issues of your own going on right now so focus on yourself and your immediate family. Neptune has recently stepped into Pisces, though he will retreat into Aquarius for a while between August and early November. This presence in your 9th house should serve you well as far as attaining the enlightenment you need to make some changes to your beliefs and expectations as well as your philosophy of life generally. Be careful you don't become too idealistic in this area, however, and place even more burdens upon yourself in thinking you need to fix the world. Rather raise your sites and see yourself and your family as the microcosm with the most importance at this time. The Full Moon on May 17 is in fellow Water Sign, Scorpio, your 5th house of creativity, ego definition, romance, children, entertainment and speculation. A Full Moon indicates an ending or shift to a new phase so watch for something in this part of your life to phase in or out, perhaps simply the time spent on such endeavors. If you're facing challenges in this area, Neptune can provide you with some insights if you consciously call on his inspiration and trust what comes into your mind when you do. Taking action on anything you encounter in that way is favored as well, in fact you may be amazed at the opportunities that seemingly drop into your path. By now the only planets left in Aries are Jupiter and Uranus with the other in Taurus, helping you to be practical and determined about those goals.
