Long-term Aspects and Lunations This month the New Moon on March 4 is in fellow Mutable Sign, Pisces, your 4th House of home environment, cultural roots and memories. If your birthday is within a day or so of December 6th this will have a more noticeable impact, but all Archers should watch for some new development to come your way in this part of your life. There are three other planets in Pisces besides the Sun and Moon (which of course are not planets, per se, but are called such in astrology to simplify matters). These include Mars, Mercury and Uranus, who is but a sneeze away from entering Aries in a day or so. Mars is somewhat lost in Pisces, his fiery energy doused with a touch of dreamy illusion. Calming Mars down a bit is often a good thing, but it can also detract from his drive and motivation. Nonetheless, with him in your 4th House you can put him to good use starting any projects around the house. Mercury in Pisces is also not very effective, his logical nature likewise distorted, but not always in a bad way. In this house you can use that softening effect well for any conversations you may need to have with family members which may be a bit difficult by nature of the subject to be discussed. It's also favorable for working together as a family to express your dreams and aspirations and perhaps set some common goals. Uranus has been in Pisces since 2003 so he's been there so long his disruptions and disturbances have probably begun to seem almost normal. If your birthday is right around December 22 you may experience one last Uranian hurrah but gratefully it should lead to more stable and calm times ahead. Saturn, retrograde in Libra, your 11th House of groups, friends, organizations, and goals, is at work on the subconscious level with regard to something in this part of your life that needs to be restructured. It's tied to this lunation, implying it involves your home environment or family in some way. Perhaps you're spending too much time socializing or with organizations and need to rework some of your commitments or, conversely, maybe you should be involved more. Either way, give it some thought. Jupiter, your Sign Ruler, is squaring Pluto, which suggests a conflict between your finances and something related to your 5th house which comprises your ego definition, creativity, romance, children, entertainment and speculations. Implications include being held back from doing something that means a lot to you until you make some changes to your finances or income. It may also call for a complete revamping of your investments or clearing up past credit issues to enable you to move forward. Mars is sextile Pluto, so moving forward on any home projects is likely to be tied with this clean-up work with regard to your finances as well. The Full Moon on March 19 is in Virgo, your 10th House of career, reputation, status and public image. A Full Moon typically heralds an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase. This could be as dramatic as retiring or as simple as finishing up a project at work that brings you attention. By this time Uranus and Mercury have moved into Aries, shifting their energy significantly. Furthermore, the Moon is opposing Uranus which will immediately give you a taste of what Uranus is up to in your 5th House of ego, romance and so forth as noted earlier. Expect a disruption or some sort which impacts your career or status in some way. This could manifest as a grown child moving back home or some other situation or event that interrupts your normal routine. Saturn is opposing both Jupiter and Mercury, also in your 5th House, adding more data for Saturn's retrograde ruminations. If you've been pondering news or information that is prodding you to expand something in this part of your life, don't expect to be able to do so without some opposition. Jupiter is about expansion, Saturn about boundaries and restrictions, so you can figure it out from there. The Moon is quincunx Neptune which suggests an inspired idea which will benefit your career or status in same way but will require a few adjustments to make it happen. Venus also in Aquarius along with Neptune lends a nice touch which will be especially meaningful if your birthday is right around December 13th. Aquarius, in case you're wondering, is your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, siblings and familiar travel so Venus brings favorable implications for activities in that part of your life. |
