Lunations and Long Term Aspects The New Moon on March 4th is in neighboring sign, Pisces, your 12th House of spirituality, imagination, enlightenment, dreams, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing. I can just hear you Rams muttering something like "Well, isn't that special?" with much the same tone as Dana Carvey as the Church Lady on Saturday Night Live many years ago. This may not be your favorite house but one that bears some attention, especially that last part which involves "hidden enemies and self-undoing." While you may excel at full frontal assaults, that is not how everyone operates. Water Signs in particular are good at this sort of thing and you know how well Fire and Water mix. If your birthday is April 4th, give or take a day, you might want to give this some serious thought. Check your "six" as they say in the military for anyone who's out to undermine you or sabotage your efforts. With Mercury and Uranus in Pisces as well, the stage is set for surprises or disruptive news. Another possible clue to who or what it may be lies in the fact that Saturn is quincunx the New Moon, which of course comprises both the Sun and Moon. Saturn is in Libra, your polar sign, and will oppose the Natal Sun for those of you born between April 4 - 8 at some point this month. Libra is your 7th House of close relationships which includes your significant other, business partners, business professionals with whom you have a one-on-one relationship, such as your accountant or hair stylist as well as open enemies or competitors. The opposition will manifest as either a delay instituted by one of these people or a relationship with someone in this area which needs to be restructured in some manner. The quincunx with the New Moon indicates the need for an adjustment, change of course, justifying your position or simply being willing to take a different approach to an old issue. You Sign Ruler, Mars, is in Pisces as well, which doesn't do much for his fiery energy. As you can expect it will be dampened and bogged down, perhaps spending more time smelling the flowers than planting them. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but an indicator to slow down and ponder anything that isn't going quite right. Mars is sextile Pluto, God of the Underworld, who is plodding along for the next several years in fellow Cardinal Sign, Capricorn, which is your 10th House of career, status, reputation, and public image. Pluto in this house is going to make some major changes to this part of your life in the coming years though they will come gradually and seem to be the natural flow of things, albeit challenging, even for an Aries. This sextile from your Sign Ruler to Pluto is a favorable aspect in spite of it being between two malefics provided you put it to good use. Remember you need to use the energy or it will use you, probably in a way you don't like. In this case what you need to do is use Mars in your house of dreams and inspiration to determine what is working and what is not as far as your career, status and so forth is concerned. Are you happy? Making enough money? Enjoy what you're doing? If not, now is the time to start figuring out what to do about it. Jupiter, who's settled into your Sign, is squaring Pluto for this lunation, giving it some extra punch, especially if your birthday is March 30. Jupiter is about expansion, so take a look at who or what is holding you back from pursuing what you want with regard to your career, status and so forth. Is it really someone else or is it really you? The Full Moon on March 19 is in Virgo, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase. This is an excellent time to start a diet and/or fitness program, complete a project, or leave one job or line of work for something different. By this time there are three planets in Aries, Uranus, Jupiter and Mercury with the Sun in that neighborhood within a day or so. Nonetheless, for the purposes of this lunation, both the Sun and Mars are in Pisces. Mercury and Jupiter are opposing retrograde Saturn, suggesting significant news that hits at the personal level and will hail from someone close to you and relate to that restructuring of a relationship. The Moon is not only opposing the Sun as it always does for a Full Moon but also opposing Uranus. This looks like it could manifest as a work or health issue that shakes you up a bit, so be prepared. Venus is peregrine, i.e. not aspecting any planets, but if your birthday is April 11th you should look for an opportunity from one of your friends which relates to love or money in some way. Next month there will be as many as six planets in your Sign, which will pack a tremendous wallop so get your ducks in a row now so you're ready to act on whatever comes your way. |
