The Full Moon this month is on December 10 is also a lunar eclipse, which equates to a lunation on steroids.  Lunar eclipses tend to have the most effect on the emotional plane which in this case will most likely relate to your thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors or local travel in some way.  If your birthday is right around April 8th you are in an especially favorable position to put this to work in your favor to resolve anything you've been dealing with in this area which also relates to your beliefs and expectations.  Other possibilities include your political or religious views, higher learning, other cultures, long-distance travel and so forth.  If you've been trying to pull together your thoughts and channel them into a new belief system this eclipse should provide some powerful assistance to do just that.

The day before this lunation Uranus stationed direct in your sign, where he has been continuously since March.  Prior to that he was in Aries for a while, but left again due to retrograde motion.  At this point he won't leave again until May 2018 when he enters Taurus, but this will also be temporary because he'll return to Aries between November 2018 through March 2019, when he will leave for good.  So, as you can see, you will need to deal with his energy for several years to come, assuming we all make it past December 2012.  Most Aries kind of thrive on the excitement Uranus brings.  After all, he rules explosives, which those of the male persuasion tend to enjoy.  He is also about freedom, another Aries propensity.  Other influences include sudden change, disruptions, disturbances, rebellion, innovation, unconventionality, and so forth.  So, you may not view this as a bad thing.  However, those around you may not feel the same way.  This could have the effect of kicking your already fiery disposition up a notch.  Or two.  Or even three, when he lands on your natal Sun.  Currently this applies to those of your born on or within a day or so of March 21.

For the eclipse Mercury is trining Uranus, albeit via retrograde motion.  This internalizes Mercury's energy which is not always a bad thing even though it's not a very good time to purchase mechanical or electronic items.  For this retrograde cycle he's in Sagittarius, your 9th house of higher learning, your belief system and so forth which makes it an excellent time to reconsider or review this part of your life.  Does your philosophy of life require a few adjustments?  Is your belief system still working for you?  What about religion and politics?  Have your views there changed or should they?  A sudden or abrupt change in your point of view or attitude is possible as you discover something new or that you missed before.  With Pluto cruising along at glacial speed in Capricorn, your 10th house, you might also put this energy to work with regard to your career and public image or any other status you're not happy with at the moment.  Pluto is squaring your natal Sun if your birthday is right around March 28.  If you're having a difficult time right now Pluto is likely to be the culprit.  However, you can use these other energies to help discover what Pluto is trying to reveal and make progress toward resolution.

Your sign ruler, Mars, is in Virgo where he is forming a T-square with the eclipse Sun and Moon.  Virgo is your 6th house of work, health, service and pets.  With Pluto in your 10th and Mars in your 6th work is probably a major topic for you right now.  No one can harness Mars' energy better than an Aries, however, even if there is a challenge or obstacle or two involved since you thrive on such things.  All that thought activity noted earlier may have your current job (or lack thereof) in the crosshairs.  Maybe it's time to change jobs to something which suits you better or even go back to school and train for something entirely different. 

Mars is also in a closed loop with Venus and the Moon in a nameless (as far as I know) aspect pattern that links the three of them.  Venus is in Capricorn, your aforementioned 10th house of career and status, which should bring positive things your way such as a raise, given that Venus rules your 2nd house of income and finances.  She also rules your 7th house of relationships, so the status of a relationship may be at issue as well, but in a positive way.  As you recall, the Moon and Mars are squared off, denoting conflict, perhaps even over something like a long commute given the price of gas.  Venus is positioned to rectify this problem, perhaps through something favorable whether it's a raise or a female friend or supervisor who can bring about a change of direction in your situation or perhaps simply your attitude.

The New Moon on December 24 is in Capricorn, your 10th house of career and status.  This should bring something new your way in this part of your life. The Sun/Moon combo is trining Jupiter, still retrograde in Taurus, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs and pleasures.  Actually, Jupiter is stationing direct about this time which makes his influence even more powerful.  Jupiter RX is often about ethics issues or in your 2nd house may relate to your philosophy toward money or your general sense of security.  If you've been thinking about that a lot lately, this lunation may finally offer something to resolve it.

Saturn, Jupiter and Neptune have been in an outer planet triangle of potential for most of the month.  Saturn is in Libra, your 7th house of relationships.  Saturn, while typically considered a malefic or unfriendly planet is exalted in Libra where his energy tends to be more positive, in your case promoting responsibility in your relationships.  Since you like your freedom, however, this may not always feel comfortable.  Jupiter retrograde in your 2nd house of finances as well as personal needs opposing Saturn has probably been stirring up a few things in this regard as far as what the right thing to do might be.  This is where Neptune in Aquarius comes into play as the mediator in this standoff since he forms positive aspects to both planets.  The implication is that you can get some inspiration or guidance from a friend or perhaps through an organization.  You personal goals might also come into play where you place a positive spin on your obligations while still looking out for your own needs.  This may require an abrupt change of some sort which may not be that comfortable, but the end result should be satisfactory.
